I tend to agree with you that Fox won’t be “fundamentally transforming” their winning formula...but they will be tinkering at the edges to improve it. The Murdochs are, first and foremost, business people. Yeah, they have a Leftward bent (or so it seems), but that didn’t stop him from hiring Roger Ailes and making Fox synomymous with conservative.

As to BOR suing Fox, it is my understanding (from a news report...and we all know how reliable those are) that they “mutually agreed” to him being taken off of the air. If they did, there will be no suit. Even if they didn’t, no one here knows the terms of his contract - he may not have a leg to stand on in this situation. Regardless, he won’t be on any street corners with a cup any time soon.

I’m personally very sick and tired of the accusations of “sexual harassment” that always get hurled around. Maybe it is true, maybe not - but in our society, once the mere accusation is out there the guilt is assumed. Women KNOW that, particularly smart ones that just want to extort a few million from a wealthy network and/or TV star. Note: it only works on decent people, as the indecent ones simply don’t care about the effect on themselves or their family. This is exactly why Trump doesn’t settle suits (not most of the time, anyway, and not before he’s made someone spend a WHOLE lot larger percentage of their net worth on lawyers than he does) - because someone else will come looking for you once you have that reputation. BOR and Fox apparently settled about $13 million worth of similar cases in the past...so a new one was pretty much inevitable.

It is not just celebrities or CEO types that get accused. It can be mid level managers at Corporations.

1996- My issue started with a Contract IT woman who was a solid employee, then we hired her full time and a year later all hell broke loose.

I had a guy on the team who dropped F-Bombs. He was from NJ and did speak like Tony Soprano. Then people would horse around with Nerf toys, but when the former contract woman got hit with a Nerf ball we were a hostile work environment court case. It got dismissed but not after a couple of trips to court. F-Bombs are a no-no
