It is not just celebrities or CEO types that get accused. It can be mid level managers at Corporations.
1996- My issue started with a Contract IT woman who was a solid employee, then we hired her full time and a year later all hell broke loose.
I had a guy on the team who dropped F-Bombs. He was from NJ and did speak like Tony Soprano. Then people would horse around with Nerf toys, but when the former contract woman got hit with a Nerf ball we were a hostile work environment court case. It got dismissed but not after a couple of trips to court. F-Bombs are a no-no
In a case like that I’d love to see some judge say, “Women claim that they are equal to men, but then don’t want to take some of the garbage that men routinely dish out to each other. Well, if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Case dismissed, with prejudice, in favor of the defendant.”
Of course, the judge always says that when I have my eyes closed, never in reality.
