It's better to be attacked by a goose than to be goosed by an attacker.

The way I put it is, “it’s better to donate a Ford to the Kidney Foundation than a kidney to the Ford foundation”.
Geese can be VERY aggressive!

GA Southern has a lake in front of the library, populated by geese. I used to talk to them with a bass clarinet. Mimicing their calls with overtones.
Anyway, I was walking around that lake with a girl, and a goose ran right up and bit her on her butt.

The guy will never live it down by his squad.
We have lots of geese here. Every morning and evening they fly down the river honking. I’ve watched the gaggle grow from 18 a few years ago. They paraded a couple dozen brand new babies by a few days ago. They’ll have one or two guards at the front, a couple more in the middle and a couple at the end of the group. Last spring, they were so proud of the babies that they we honking and honking going past. Even the dogs stood in awe without barking.

When I was a kid my buddy had a goose that he used to tease. Geese can be mean SOB’s.

I used to work at a place that had large, beautiful grounds around it with a good-sized pond and plenty of wildlife, including Canada geese. I had to drive by where some of them nested, and often had geese charge at the side of my car as I went by.
