Because they cannot follow the rules and laws of our society! They are there for that reason! Remember Obama releasing all of those so-called non-violent felons, the drug dealers well it is happening all the States! Ever wonder why we have a opioid problem? This is part of the problem!

I know several people who are in prison. All of them deserve to be there. What is it about our society that so many people make such stupid mistakes? I think our country has the highest incarceration rate of any other country in the world.

Let me have a little fun here. The number one reason why people are in Prison is because Northeastern Liberal Republicans tried to get more political power.

Now see if you can figure out how I arrived at that statement. :)

Convicted pedophiles should do life in prison in remote Alaska work camps, growing their own food and contemplating their crimes.

I’ve never been in prison. Never even arrested. Even though I did some things in my youth that probably deserved arrest. But ever go to visit somebody in prison? I have. You go through a metal detector like at an airport and get patted down. Then you have to sit in a waiting room where there aren’t even any magazines to read, like in a doctor’s office. Then you get ushered into a booth that locks behind you (though you can walk out anytime) and in front of you is a steel cage that opens up to a plexiglass window and you have to lift up the phone to speak to the inmate in front of you. After a period of time, the phone cuts out and the steel cage closed. Then you walk out the door and go home.

“A lot of people are in prison”.

Not sure why either. But it pays the rent.

There are too many people in prison. I think that there are several underlying reasons. America doesn’t hang the ones who should be hung, too many prison sentences handed out when an epic, public beat-down would do, the eradication of religion and the belief of a vengeful God, and too many stupid laws.

Remember back in the 1600s when people were put in pillories? That usually straightened people out. I wish we had that instead of all these prisons. Many people can be straightened out without having to go to prison where they basically hang out with hardened criminals and only end up getting worse.

Oh Noes

It’s a conspiracy of the Legal, Law Enforcement and Incarceratory COMPLEX!

actually....

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. John Adams

No worries. I know I am basically okay with posting guidelines and such. However, I have a family member doing 15+ years and he's really not a bad guy. He just made a serious mistake. I think a good old-fashioned beating would have straightened him out.

He's going to cost society a half million dollars for his incarceration. What a shame.
