A Japan-based combat-ready Air Force wing showed off its aircraft Wednesday in a clear warning to North Korea.
Fox News reported the 18th Wing conducted a surprise military exercise at Kadena Air Base in Japan as North Korea is rumored to be nearing a sixth nuclear weapons test.
A group of HH-60 Pave Hawks, F-15 Eagles, E-3 Sentries and KC-135 Stratotankers all took part in the exercise, the report said. Photos from the no-notice event showed jets lined up down the entirety of a runway on the base.
Such exercises are known as an "elephant walk," featuring planes taxiing in tight formation before takeoff.
China has warned North Korea's adversaries not to make any rash actions because "military force cannot resolve the issue," according to Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.....

Perhaps the Fraud wasn’t as successful at infiltrating and feminizing the Air Force as the other armed services, but of course he did focus on attrition and non-replacement of aircraft. BJ’s wife would have taken care of the rest.
I went to visit my kid in 2009 when she was based at Kadena. Okinawa is literally crawling with North Koreans. Dudes standing on the hoods of cars right outside every one of the base gates taking telephoto pictures of every aircraft takeoff and landing. And the people going in and out.
Was told that all of the pachinko parlors and most of the brothels were run by the Norks.
I’ve read reports that Japan is sortieing their fleet toward NK. Aegis class type destroyers in a task force. It looks like it is going to be a big display of force from combined commands.
I hope so. I hope they aren't massing on the border to sucker the US into Korea II (seems unlikely).
My guess they do not want the japs back again.
I think we are preparing for a warning and more. It really seems to me all Media is missing the importance and risks of this situation. I think Trump is not practicing he is preparing.
