Hundreds of protesters gathered in cities throughout the country, slamming President Trump for the airstrike on a Syrian airbase in Shayrat in the early morning hours of Friday. It was flagged as an emergency protest by the group, “Act Now to Stop War and End Racism” (ANSWER) Coalition, which called the US assertion that the Syrian government carried out attacks on its own people “unsubstantiated” and demanded an independent investigation.

I am amazed but not surprised over the protests concerning Syria. There's a video included in this story of a Syrian man thanking Trump for what he did. It is truly heartbreaking to see what that airstrike meant to this man and the people of his country. It filled him with hope for perhaps a better future.
ISIS will not lay down their arms. We still don’t know who the enemy is....but both Russia and Syria does. Like it or not, I really think we have to work it out.....somehow because we don’t know WHO is the alternative. Look at Egypt, Libya...for how well we do at replacement...

Apparently the past few years the “emergency” was absent, eh?

I hear ya! I think it’s the millenials having a hard time with air strikes.
These are Trump supporters gone rogue on us. lol. The war in Syria doesn’t exist unless Trump has done something to tassle some feathers.
Actually, Syria started bombing its people yesterday again. Not chemical. Just regular blow-them-up kind of stuff. Ya know, the stuff our media seldom covers because it’s rampant in the ME.
I think the bottom line with this air strike is it took away from the Trump-Putin connection CNN was harping on and it made him come across and decisive and presidential to the world. In policitical circles, that’s HUGE.
