Destructive Democrats
Article V Blog ^ | March 27th 2017 | Rodney Dodsworth

Foremost among the reasons I despise the democrat party is its destructive nature. It builds nothing; it exists to destroy. In the name of social justice, it corrupts and soils every previously noble institution it comes to dominate. ‘Divide and conquer’ is a tactic as old as warfare, and one which the democrat party puts to skilled use for its nefarious goals. Together with their fellow travelers in the media, they exploit every possible Alinsky distinction in race, wealth, education, gender, and sexual orientation. Keep society back on its heels. Keep various factions at each other’s throats, all the while lying when they profess to bring the nation together.

Do democrats exalt public virtue, talent, and patriotism, or do they regard them as mortal sins against social justice? Such is their lust for power, the democrat party would rather oversee an America in decline, than be bystanders in a united, prosperous, and happy republic. Their globalist candidate lost, and they are gunning to not only stymie President Trump’s efforts, they intend to remove him from office. As their thinking goes, once President Trump and the GOP are disgraced, the democrat nominee, no matter who he or she is, will stroll into office in 2020. Jimmy Carter wasn’t elected in 1976 because of his presidential qualities; he was elected because he wasn’t a Republican.

Their straightforward purpose is to delegitimize the election of President Trump and cast doubt on his honesty and fitness for office. Again, the democrats’ perceived path to political supremacy is the destruction of all that is good, and since candidate Trump promised to do away with harmful agencies and programs to make America great again, he must be destroyed.

Democrats do not oppose for noble reasons. They oppose for partisan only reasons.

Leftists have destroyed every country they’ve controlled.

No exceptions.

Quite the track record.

It really is a shame that the left didn’t have the decency to just leave this country alone to follow its founding principles to their natural ends.

And social justice knows no end. To the Left, opposition to conservatives is moral. Taken further, it means physical attacks, rioting, assassination of top conservatives are noble and good. It is why Leftist nations eventually rationalize gulags for their political opponents. They can’t avoid them.

I agree, but must I point out the obvious?

Here is an easy example: “sexual orientation”. Orientation? Or behavior? Language matters. Language has been captured. This article operates within the word defined by that captured language.

Has the Republican party indicated a direction different from the Democrats? Or have they accepted the frame of reference defined by the Democrats and operated within that frame?

The Democrat party is, in my opinion, degenerate. That is not to say that Joe Blow party member is, only that the organization is.

So what of the Republicans? Do they define a frame of reference? Or do they refine the frame provided by the Democrats?

Yes, we all know the answer, but if I speak it I am a “purist”.

Rather than change the rules, change the players: get rid of the degenerates and mental weaklings.

Yeah, the democrats. But that also goes for the GOPe who want to destroy Trump’s presidency for much the same reasons. Washington’s becoming the worst enemy the American people have ever faced.

There are only two kinds of people... Those who believe individual rights trump the rights of the collective, and those who believe the good of society trumps individual rights. The American model is built on the former while the latter is socialism. The dems destroy America, based on the former, because they believe the latter.

No legitimate, individual right will do harm to society. If it assaults the civil society upon which republics depend, it isn’t a right. No right can work toward ends opposite to those in the Preamble of our Constitution.

It is why, for instance, abortion (in addition to being murder) cannot be a right.

I don’t substantially disagree with your points. In our corrupted governing institutions, good men and women are not only not welcomed, they are subject to withering abuse from colleagues and media. Whereas the rat party is evil at its core, most pubbies go along to get along to hold on to office. Too many of them don’t yet understand that helping DJT put his campaign promises into action is the best reelection guarantee.

Alinsky didn’t develop “divide and conquer” as a political tool. He wasn’t that smart. The dialectic — which is what is being described — was the work of Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, and Georg Hegel.

Alinsky radicals exploit every wound in society; they open them up and scrape off the scabs.

The media is the public face of the progressives. The media trots out the quote that the media should “comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable”. That sounds noble until you do some digging and find out that the afflicted are often the victims of their own choices and actions. And find that many of the comfortable are comfortable because they have worked hard and have been morally straight.

Oh, Alinsky exploited the Hegelian/Marxist dialectic, to be sure. He just didn’t invent it. Don’t give him that much credit.

Peace, Rapscallion,

Democrats do not oppose for noble reasons. They oppose for partisan only reasons.

I oppose the illegal/unconstitutional acts of My government for noble reasons. Not all Democrats are partisan zombies. Neither are all Republicans. We should be working together to solve the countries problems.
