A president was impeached and thrown out of office for it because they said he had to have known about it.

A former president who cannot be impeached was celebrated instead, because he said he could not have known about it. His party backing his narratives and enabling the felonies committed based on speculation and hope, a fishing expedition to find criminality where none existed, went into denial mode and blamed Vladimir Putin or whomever they can cite for that day, for the cyber break in at Trump Towers, from which, even after FISA warrants, no evidence of criminality or influence had been uncovered.
Nixon resigned before he could be impeached.
It’s amazing how many make the mistake of saying Nixon was impeached; of course, he would have been because Republicans were prepared to join Dems in removing him. This stands in stark contrast to present Dems who would never have joined in any impeachment of the 0bamantion, however egregious his offesnses.
The Democrats have TWO THINGS going for them, which enables them to hold together when felonies are committed:
1) The Dems know FULL WELL that they’re the MINORITY PARTY in any fair election. While they have the media lecturing us about the rise of extremism in the Republican Party, everyone here knows that our party has drifted further and further left, mainly due to our big-money people forcing just that...they simply don’t like being on the wrong side of the media and our buddies in DC suck right up to them (mostly).
The Dems, on the other hand, cannot even get a majority of black voters, THEIR BASE, to support them on Gay Marriage (as in California), or on bathroom access to Perverts (as in Houston)...much less have any appeal to the ‘middle’ of the country. They are SIMPLY TOAST in any fair face-off against Republicans, and their polling, without a doubt, has told them just that. Just think about EVERY ISSUE where they differ from Trump (terrorist immigration, open borders, Obamacare, etc.)...and you get a sense of just how far out they are.

2) When you look at politics as they do, which is a tool to gain power to ultimately crush and ‘re-educate’ your opponents, and if that doesn’t work, jail them, and if that doesn’t work, then the ultimate punishment - as happened over and over again in Leftist countries, then the commission of felonies MEANS NOTHING from a moral sense, and the only thing important is to prevent a political cost from those felonies. How else can you have the prior administration loaded with scandals, yet not a single outside investigation of them (and nothing come of the claimed internal investigations)?
So those are the BIG ADVANTAGES that the left has over us. But Trump, thankfully, is willing to at least meet them halfway and play in the mud with them...and they’ve NEVER had to deal with a Republican doing anything close to that before, which is why they are desperately trying to drive him from office.
Nixon had absolutely no knowledge that John Dean authorized the break in of the Watergate hotel!!Obama absolutely knew about and authorized the illegal wiretaps on Trump 6 weeks before the election by bugging Trump tower on phony baloney pretext.
Nixon was NEVER impeached!!! Bill Clinton was IMPEACHED.
I will wager to say that 98% of people even on this site don’t have a clue what Watergate was or what Nixon’s “involvement” was. The ignorance of Americans of “Watergate’ is painful to fathom.
The only source for watergate was a disgruntled ex FBI interim that Nixon fired and woodward and bernstien never revealed he was on a lying vendetta and they never had ANY corroboration of the lies he was telling. Corroboration is absolute in journalism 101 Theirs was Yellow Journalism at its worst. Just ask anyone around you. “ what was Watergate”. You will get the funniest conglomerate of articulated ignorance you can ever imagine. I have done that several times over the years and I just laugh in their face. I have heard a correct description YET!!

There are no more “moderate” democrats. They are a uniform party of leftist traitors.
The republicans, on the other hand, the party of patriotism, is plagued by its own “moderates”, which see some kind of great virtue in “reaching across the aisle” to the party of confirmed treason.
I bet hardly anyone could tell you what the “Saturday Night Massacre” was.
Nixon was not impeached, and Obama CAN be impeached and tried.

Very true, and very sad that our ‘moderates’ cannot seem to understand that today’s Democrats are FAR DIFFERENT than the ones their grandfathers and even fathers dealt with.
Sad...people so out of it certainly should not be winning or even running, for that matter.
So much of the republican leadership is the shallowest of shallow chamber of commerce store clerks, with zero sense of history, with zero appreciation of Reagan’s warning that freedom is only a generation away from ending. And zero understanding of how many evil Americans there are and just how deeply evil they can be... and are.
