“Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”

I’m Not Tired Of Winning Yet but I’ll tell you what I am tired of and that’s having to fight, constantly, after winning. Especially when, as Charles Krauthammer put it: It’s Not the ‘Deep State,’ It’s ‘Revenge of the Losers.’

I don’t think there is any question that the former president was intent on leaving behind landmines. And you are right, the NSA stuff is curious. Normally, when NSA is listening in on a foreigner, they take great care to redact any American involved. The NSA is not supposed to spy on Americans. Here it was the reverse, and there was an obvious attempt as was reported in the New York Times to make sure that this was spread as widely as possible, that it would become a problem for the Trump administration. I wouldn’t call it the “deep state,” it gives it a le Carré feel that there is this ominous enemy of the United States hidden in bureaucracy. What this is, is the revenge of the losers. These are people who wanted to make trouble for an administration of a guy who they thought wasn’t going to win and shouldn’t have won, and to see what happens. That is what I think is going on. To some extent, it has happened in other administrations. But I think it’s more obvious and we are going to get to the bottom of it, because there are going to be a lot of investigations.

Do you see how easily the world devolves? It starts with former Clinton’s sophomoric staff stunts that resulted in “damage, theft, vandalism and pranks” when they left the White House, including the theft of the “W” from computer keyboards. Sixteen years later the next Democratic administration losing the White House to a Republican leaves behind IEDs and ties to Dark State in an effort to bring down the Presidency. It’s like in New York: ignore the broken windows and before you know it you’ve got a murder rate like Chicago’s.

So if you’re old enough to remember Watergate you best fasten your seatbelt because “Towergate” (h/t Judge Jeanine) is shaping up to be a bumpy night.

Rest assured however that neither Trump nor the Deplorables will go quietly.

age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light. – Dylan Thomas

Extremely interesting. Something I did not know.

Yeah, Obama's going down hard.

If I'm Barack, I'm booking a flight to Dubai TODAY.

Krauthammer is a benefitiary of Deep State and an enabler of it. He swims in the Deep State pool of DC wonks. Of course he would attempt to diminish the assertion that one exists.

Indeed. Perhaps the Deep State is throwing OBAMA under the bus, this time. :)

HOW DOES IT FEEL, BARKY!

The weakest rat always gets pushed out of the hole by the pack. Survival instinct.

I agree. He's attempting to protect the 'large number' he thinks are professional. If they really WERE professional they would have stopped the 'losers' from breaking the law and working AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

We have the right to our elections and the 'intelligence' people are fools and traitors if they feel 'elites' should trump the rights of the people.

If they have any doubt, maybe they point out ONE country run by self- appointed elites that's NOT a hellhole. Our intelligence people don't trust Americans to elect their own leaders - or many of the world's people from electing their own leaders. Corruption, arrogence and power meet - in the hellhole of 'intelligence services'. It time to downsize these folks and their pedophile blackmail antics.

I'll tell you what are enemies are up to: everything they can do that can harm us. We don't have to compromise people to know that... just figure out what 'the worst is' and create systems to counter it.

An EM attack would kill millions of Americans. If some enemy nation could do this they eventually will... so HARDEN THE CHIPS. Use the money we're wasting on 'intelligence services'... Our enemies will use cyber attacks against us - figure out what damage they could do - AND USE THE MONEY WE WASTE ON 'INTELLIGENCE SERVICES' TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

The Deep State is the Thug State... and the losers costs a fortune for American taxpayers... they play their stupid games on our dime... and don't do a damn thing to protect the majority of us. Downsize the Deep Thugs.
