Risk of mission creep high
On the surface, its hard to see how anyone could have a problem with this. President Trump says he will create an office within the Department of Homeland Security to advocate on behalf of those who are victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens. Theres so much to root for there, its tempting to simply trumpet it as another fantastic idea that will leave liberal heads exploding.
Heres how the Daily Signal summarizes the proposal, which Trump highlighted on Tuesday night in his address to Congress:
This office is going to be plenty busy if we only remove those illegal aliens already convicted of other crimes.
That leaves millions of illegal aliens here with the opportunity to victimize Americans.
We should not have to wait until illegal aliens harm or kill Americans before they are removed.
We can hear the screams of outrage from the rat congressits for allowing this grim reality to be in the media.

VOICE =Victims Of Immigration Crime Engagement
One would hope that the newly created office will help victims file and win lawsuits against parties, including countries, responsible for the crimes.
I’d hope this office helps victims of invader crime sue public officials who enable sanctuary cities. It could also follow the persecution of these criminals, and make damn sure they’re never free in the US again.
What it means is that every dollar identified as used to support the Criminal Invaders will be redirected to other uses that actually HELP U.S. Citizens, mainily victims of their crime spree.
Also putting out of work Thousands of Legal aids working the INS System at our expense.
I was thinking "enablers" in general.
Illegal Employers too.
And, if nothing else, it will provide a good database of the offenses and offenders.
It should also be noted that the funding for the office (VOICE) is being taken from an office within DHS that was providing support to defending the “rights” of illegal aliens. That office was ended so that taxpayer money could be used to assist the American citizens and LPRs who have been the victims of this crime.
Well for one thing it will put the spot light on the crimes illegals are committing in this country.
The media is doing all it can to downplay crimes by illegals.
Best example I can think of...
Next to murder and personslaughter, Identity Theft is a gigantic hell on earth for actual Americans. Babies, the elderly, dead people, busy working stiffs---
All victims for years to this major Felony; ship them all out!
As the Europeans have lazily discovered, Keeping families of illegal criminals together is a two-way street!
I say use the taxed western union money transfer of illegals to support the voice of these voiceless victims.
We don’t need this. Just build a wall and get them the heck out of here.
We dont need this. Just build a wall and get them the heck out of here.
No we need this because Democrats try to sweep illegal crime under the rug. Jamiel Shaw Sr. has spoken very powerfully about how he was ignored by politicians until Trump arrived on the scene.
“Trump establishes new office to support victims of crimes by illegals—What exactly does that mean?”
It may make it easier to file lawsuits against sanctuary cities that are thumbing their noses at the law...A few hundred million dollar’s worth of lawsuits could change hearts and minds.
It means treating these people as the special victims they are. Any questions beyond that are suspect.
Sorry, we don’t need yet ANOTHER dept/agency/sub-section. There’s already much too much overlap and duplication.
Nor do I like the idea of ‘special victims’. If govt did its JOB to begin with, there would be no talking of VOICE to begin.
Any damages from illegals should be paid out of libtardiot funds!! Wherever that may be!!
