Interesting technologies for getting around in the solar system but inadequate for interstellar travel.
If there is such thing as space/time, we will learn to fold it and travel the fold.

While I understand that there is technology yet to be be thought of, invented, discovered etc., I always think it’s interesting that there are people who insist that aliens are among us in spite of limitations on how fast an object can travel, radiation, energy to travel etc.
As per the article, “Theoretically, this technology will allow a spacecraft to reach 1/4 the speed of light in only a matter of minutes, then travel at nearly 174.3 million miles per hour. At this rate, it can supposedly reach Mars in as little as 30 minutes.”
I wonder what the G-Forces would be on the occupants with this kind of acceleration. I’m sure it is above human capability.

Those other races might’ve had thousands or millions of years more civilization to develop things than we have had. We went from very primitive powered flight to going to the Moon in just over 60 years, after all.
In 1952 we lived in Panama City. My oldest Brother and a gang of other boys were deep in thought. Actually they really were. One asked if we would ever make it to the moon.
Joe was 10 and he knew everything. He thought about it and finally said “No”. That was it for me. Like I said, Joe knew everything.
Now we are discussing interstellar space travel. My guess is we never will unless some trick is discovered such as wormholes etc. whatever they are.
