Make the Road New York, an immigrant advocacy group, told the media this evening that Immigration and Customs Enforcement sweeps on Staten Island netted five Mexican nationals in the past week and a halfcoinciding with similar actions across the nation.
The raids took place on February 2, February 3, February 5 and February 8, according to speakers on the press call. All five individuals taken by ICE officers were male, and four of them have children who are U.S. citizens, the group reported.
Make the Road believes several of the men are now in New Jersey detention centers.
What weve seen is that the incidents in Staten Island are consistent with what weve seen with the surge of ICE activity in the last week, Theo Oshiro, deputy director of Make the Road New York said.

I call BS and throw a brown flag. Children of illegals born here are also illegals; regardless WHAT the ‘rats say, in their hustle to lock in a permanent lower class of perpetual ‘rat voters.
Over 500,000 illegal/over stayed visa are in San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale (Silicon Valley). Majority of them are from India, China, UK, East European countries.
Those families need to be kept together! Whatever it takes. We got no problem paying passage as a group.
The criminal illegal gets deported. That’s the law. The anchor baby can stay and go into CPS or go home with dad to Mexico. Can’t mix the two events because they are not related.
By far the biggest unauthorized immigrant populations were in the New York and Los Angeles metro areas (1.2 million and 1 million, respectively).
Now I would venture to say that the state of California has a larger population than New York, but again I bet they are neck-to-neck with each other on that count as well.

Help the ICE...drop a dime!
Who was trying to “impress” anyone? I was pointing out the Left’s hypocrisy. They didn’t care what Bill Clinton and Janet Reno did because they wanted the kid to go back to communist Cuba.
Of course because immigrants and refugees are not distributed equally across industries. Hopefully the truly evil meat packing and poultry plants will be the first to feel the pinch.
If the ICE comes in and busts them, the local cops can only watch. They’ll be arrrested on federal crimes and chucked right into the federal courts. Sanctuary cities only means the local boys can’t help. You see, we have our own federales!
Following the law is now (fake) news?
We need to send the illegal communities that they are correct to fear. The gravy train is over. We need to tell them we will scour everything to find and deport them . Last week a Mexican Latina living in Texas was sentenced to prison for illegal voting. We need to get the word out that when Trump looks at voter rolls for fraudulent votes, he will find and prosecute.
We need the illegals gone and we need them to fear ever voting again.
I like the idea of driving all the aliens from the non-sanctuary areas and concentrating them in the sanctuary areas to make them easier to pick up.
That’s why Austin is the most schadenfreudy city to watch enforce illegal immigration. Electric blue, but full of Conservatives in the State government.
Elected officials who try to save the illegals have Trump Democrats who rarely vote to fear. No way to turn Austin red, but getting it to 50-50 is not unachievable using illegals as the GOTV precipitator.
That’s how I took it.
Fve in a week and a half. I could net fifteen in a minute at any Home Depot parking lot at 7am
Oh my gosh! That’s almost 1 illegal a day!!!!!! Where’s my pearls?!?!?!
Until ICE starts deporting 1000 a day, I’m not impressed. 10,000 a day would bring a smile that my tax dollars are finally working for me instead of some low life or illegal or foreigner.
What I'd like to see next is for qualified US citizens who are unemployed or underemployed come forward and demand to know why corporations are getting work visas for foreigners when there are available and qualified US citizens to fill those jobs.
