Make the Road New York, an immigrant advocacy group, told the media this evening that Immigration and Customs Enforcement sweeps on Staten Island netted five Mexican nationals in the past week and a half—coinciding with similar actions across the nation.
The raids took place on February 2, February 3, February 5 and February 8, according to speakers on the press call. All five individuals taken by ICE officers were male, and four of them have children who are U.S. citizens, the group reported.
Make the Road believes several of the men are now in New Jersey detention centers.
“What we’ve seen is that the incidents in Staten Island are consistent with what we’ve seen with the surge of ICE activity in the last week,” Theo Oshiro, deputy director of Make the Road New York said.

It isn’t a surge in activity to go from not enforcing law to enforcing the law.
So the left’s panicked meme of “it’s a surge!!” is laughable.
OMG! OMG! OMG! The evil racis’ are enforcing existing laws. OMG! Guess getting away with this crap has become so accepted that they can’t “tolerate” actual enforcement.
This is the low hanging fruit; it gets the libs to expend useless lawsuits, and in doing so sets up the narrative that the Dems want to keep violent foreigners here, preferring them to natural-born citizens.
The fact that millions of illegal have been able to live openly without any fear of deportation shows you how neglectful our politicians are. Now we have a non neglectful President, and it makes all the difference.
Why so few? They have the largest population of illegal immigrants in the nation.
Let them check out Corona, Queens for illegal Hispanics, upper Flushing, Queens for illegal Chinese (who are taking over all of Queens), Brooklyn for illegal Slavic country criminals and the Bronx for illegal South and Central American criminals. I’m sure they will find hundreds, if not thousands.

Wait! Wait! How can this be???? After all, the Mayor said it was a sanctuary city. You mean all the city can do is keep people who are jailed from being handed over and there is nothing that can stop the “Federalizes” from going in and finding them themselves?
LOL, the cities are going to lose millions and the bad guys are still going to be removed. It can’t get any better.
