Anti-Trump protesters block ambulance with critically ill patient, forcing emergency work in traffic

Between 100 and 200 protesters against Republican President Donald Trump blocked an ambulance carrying a critically ill patient on a Connecticut highway — forcing an emergency procedure in the ambulance instead of at a hospital, state police said.

After a request for assistance from New Haven police, state police on Saturday went to the northbound Interstate 95 exit 47 ramp with riot gear and pepper spray, WTIC-TV reported.

But before the roadway was cleared, EMTs had to perform an emergency medical procedure on the patient in the ambulance rather than at a hospital due to the delay, state police told the station.

I am of the opinion that should any person die while being transported to a hospital and the transport is blocked by a protest, all protesters should then be charged with man slaughter.

Ambulance driver who runs over protesters while transporting critical patient should be immune from prosecution under Good Samaritan law or Pikuach nefesh.

All emergency vehicles should have dash cams to record this nonsense.

Identify the perps and throw the book at them.
No mercy for someone who has such little concern for the lives of others.

It just goes to show the true nature of their character.
