California Dems Pass Bill to ‘Freeze Out ICE’ Passes Committee
Canada Free Press ^ | 02/02/17 | Katy Grimes

SB 54 specifically prohibits almost all cooperation and communication with federal immigration authorities.

In the California State Senate Monday, Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de Léon (D-Los Angeles) and fellow Democrats passed Senate Resolution 16, condemning President Donald J. Trump’s recent executive order restricting travel from terror-prone countries and suspending the refugee program.

The text of the resolution declares that Trump’s executive order “desecrates our American values and panders to fears and nativist instincts that have resulted in some of our nation’s most shameful acts.”

Looks like we’ll need to include California on the other side of the wall.

No mention of the fact that it’s LEGAL and within the purview of POTUS.

So the next time an Illegal murders someone in a sanctuary city, can DJT declare martial law there, and send in the national guard?

I am thinking border patrol should just abandon the actual border, and go to the eastern CA state line, instead.

I have stoped looking for jobs in California. It’s just too far to the left for me.

Not so fast. According to a survey released last week over 70% of California residents are against sanctuary cities and illegal immigration. And that is across the board (Republicans, Democrats, and all ethnic groups). So, it confuses me as to why they are doing this since the vast majority of residents are against it.

Your guess is as good as mine.

So has anyone compiled a list of where officials can not travel to? Or is it better to just say they can just travel across the road to Mexico?

As I was writing the above, it dawned on me that Mexico might just be stealing California from right under our noses as they had planned and hoped as they believe the land is somehow theirs because it was stolen just like the Palestinkians.

FedGov spends $344B a year in California, 11% of all federal spending. I’d like to see federal spending cut by more than 11%. I’m okay with California accepting the natural consequences of lawlessness.

How soon until businesses start moving out of California as not to want to have to pay for the border tax and import duties to the UNITED States of America?

Sure. Here is the link:

http://news.berkeley.edu/2015/09/04/igs-poll-californians-oppose-sanctuary-city-flexibility/

From the article:

The online survey, which polled 1,098 California residents from Aug. 11-26, found that 74 percent of respondents said local authorities should not be able to ignore a federal request to hold a detained person who is in the country illegally. Only 26 percent of respondents said local authorities should have that right.

Opposition to the sanctuary city policies crossed the political spectrum, and included 73 percent of Democrats, 82 percent of Republicans and 71 percent of independents.
