Two days after President Donald Trump told a national television audience that Mayor Rahm Emanuel needed to "smarten up and toughen up" on fighting gun violence, the mayor held a carefully-orchestrated news conference to discuss Chicago's "smart-policing strategy."
As Emanuel summoned a swarm of cameras to the 7th District Police Station in Englewood Friday to highlight new police cameras and gunshot tracking technology, sources said the Police Department's top brass was busy carrying out an order to flood the city's most violent neighborhoods with extra officers this weekend.
In a Tuesday night tweet in which he said he "will send in the Feds!" if the city doesn't fix its violent crime problems, Trump cited Chicago Tribune crime data that showed January homicides up 24 percent compared to 2016, a year marked by the highest number of killings in two decades. Trump again criticized Emanuel and the city's handling of gun violence in his first television interview as president Wednesday night, describing Chicago's rampant shootings as "horrible carnage" and "a problem that is very easily fixable."(continued)

I’m guessing Trump would be friends with Ari, the youngest Emanuel brother and Sports Agent, not the oldest brother, the Death Panel Doctor. His name escapes me.
Donald is friends with many of the top American athletes. Highly sociable winners tend to enjoy each others company.
I have long thought Chicago was corrupt, top to bottom, with payoffs going the beat cops all the way to the top to ignore what is going on. My guess is massive amounts of drugs moving through that city.
Ari is one of PDT’s agent in Hollywood and was one of the first group who visited the prez in Maryland right after he won. Ari must be begging Trump not to make his brother look like a weak asshole.

The Death Panel Doctor I believe is named Ezekiel. He was around as a talking head about a year or two ago, disappeared and is around again the past week... of course for purposes of addressing Trump and the plans to repeal Obamacare. He is a classic pencil-necked geek, one of the most obnoxious political surrogates of this entire group, and that’s saying something.Quite possibly the most unappealing man I have ever seen—I simply could not BEAR looking at him or listening to him and his idiotic, truth-twisting defense of ACA.

He’s not doing anything. His dream is to let the Feds in and keep his fingers crossed that they screw it up more than he did for these past years. He is very transparently trying to pit his PD against interloper Trump-—it won’t work.

First, President Trump did not say “GUN violence”.
Second, what fresh evil is Mayor Emanuel planning? This is a little weird.
That’s how I read his body language after Trump’s tweet.
