You are right, of course, but it is a good and fast start. It will take Congress time to ramp up; good legislation is made slowly and after debate, and by changing things based on an executive order program, President Trump is making it possible for Congress to legislate in areas in which executive orders can’t accomplish what he wants.
We are five days into his term, and I am not worried about another President in 4 or 8 years changing things back. I suspect that President Trump will have succeeded in changing the American culture to the point that relatively quickly Congress will ratify his decisions.
That is 3 thinga....just sayin...;)

No. Trump was asked his opinion on the rehab of the UN. He did NOT bid on the project. There is a video of his comments before a Senate hearing asking his advice.
There are conflict of interest issues with your suggestion of Trump Inc getting involved with any ownership positions of the building.
Bad idea reducing the UN. It will just grow back at a later date.

The Trumpkrieg attack plan of Shock and Awe continues unabated. The lefties are staggering around in a daze. They can’t form up and establish a solid defensive perimeter because the blasts are coming from all directions.
For example, we’ve heard nary a peep about the order to defund and sell off NPR and the CPB as well as ending the National Endowment for the Arts. If they were to form a perimeter around these they would be unavailable to respond to the border, to the oil pipelines, to the UN, to ObamaCare and so on and so forth.
In the past, Reagan and W tried to reduce funding to PBS. Both quickly backed down when the defensive perimeter was rapidly established with cries of killing Big Bird and so forth. Under Trump, they cannot because they are too worried about where the next cannonade will come from and which sacred cow is it aimed at.
We may have to wait for the next election to get rid of some obstructionist Dims and outnumber obstructionist RINOs.
