They can start by eliminating all the laws that put the straight, white male at the back of the line when companies fill a position.
Walk into any doctors’ office, pharmacy, bank, public school, government office, and many companies (especially human resources), and you’ll find precious few straight, white males in entry level or supervisory positions.
But that is only a start.
I am not trash-talking the “American Worker”.
I said that I personally know people who are milking disability. There are many more like them. And I don’t know what it would take to convince them to go back to work.
Otherwise you could not have 90+ million drop from the labor force without soup lines and mass starvation.
Yes, post WWII coming of age in the 50's and 60' the USA was flush with opportunities of all kinds. Manufacturing was thriving and so were many other parts of the economy that have been decimated. So don't compare yourselves to todays' generation. No comparison. The globalist Free Traitors™ have made life hell for those starting out. IT IS TOUGHER now. Much tougher.

I think, by definition, somebody who went from unemployment to disability using 99 weeks of unemployment as evidence is not an American worker. They are taking advantage of the rules rather than moving to a locale that can use whatever their skill set is. I understand not wanting to move. I almost got kicked out of am MBA class because somebody with a four year college degree (don’t know what in) had taken a $12/hour job working for Walmart. There was no other employment in the small town. The (economics) class felt that Walmart should pay this person more because she had a degree. I maintained that she applied for and got a $12/hour job and Walmart was not obliged to pay for a degree they could not use. I thought I was going to be hanged. But the point is, welfare and social security disability enable people to stay where they are rather than doing work they can do if they’d move.

So why, a self admitted curmudgeon, did you bring that situation up on this thread about getting more men back to work? What point were you trying to make? Is your TDS acting up again?

There already is a federal law on the books that limits welfare benefits to 5 years max for those able to work (Bill Clinton signed it, IIRC).
Obama gave waivers to the states to let them ignore the law.
In the current situation there are hundreds of applicants for almost every position that’s actually open, at least in my area, that ain’t gonna do much to help. You can kick a horse all you want but he ain’t gonna go forward if he’s facing the Grand Canyon.
I have two kids in their 20’s. Both have busted their butts to have careers and make something of themselves.
Most of their friends however have serious issues.
Largely due to successful propagandizing by our publik skrools.
Oh, and the disability milking union guy I was talking about is my age.
Plus there’s human nature. After 8 years sitting on the couch a whole lot of inertia sets in.
There is no comparison to today.

I don’t think anyone in the 40’s, 50’s or 60’s would have hired these kids in any case. Their attitude problems are that serious.
Anyone in the HR field will tell you, there is a dangerous inertia that sets in whenever anyone is out of a job for more than a few months. It’s not that easy to gear back up and get back in the daily routine of work.
Apparently in Germany when the economy slows down they cut everyone’s hours and then spread a partial unemployment payment to them to make up the difference. A better solution IMO as that way you don’t have a subset of people who are sitting around unemployed for long periods of time.
I guess we need to cull the heard of 90 million people, right? You are just so full of it.
All Trump can do is facilitate creation of the job openings for the people. Millions of scum have been on the govey teat for years and will resist change.
I know that's harsh so I'll compromise....(my liberal side showing I know)......so lets ween them off fairly...1/2 of what they got the previous yr would be very fair....
