Celebrity chef and self-described “privileged Eastern liberal” Anthony Bourdain slammed his fellow leftist elites this week, arguing that their disdain for working-class Americans helped create “the upswell of rage and contempt” that propelled Donald Trump to the presidency.
“The utter contempt with which privileged Eastern liberals such as myself discuss red-state, gun-country, working-class America as ridiculous and morons and rubes is largely responsible for the upswell of rage and contempt and desire to pull down the temple that we’re seeing now,” Bourdain said in an interview with Reason magazine.
“I’ve spent a lot of time in gun-country, God-fearing America,” Bourdain continued. “There are a hell of a lot of nice people out there, who are doing what everyone else in this world is trying to do: the best they can to get by and take care of themselves and the people they love. When we deny them their basic humanity and legitimacy of their views, however different they may be than ours, when we mock them at every turn and treat them with contempt, we do no one any good.”(continued)

I have watched a few of Anthony Bourdain’s shows. I find this diatribe of his totally contradictory to his nature based upon his shows and what I have read. Anthony Bourdain is nothing more than a pompous self-righteous SOB and this diatribe is as phony as he is. Yes I stopped watching his shows and rather watch the Bizarre Foods with Zimmerman than watch drivel such as Bourdain.
I can’t stand this guy-——no particular reason,just can’t stand him.

He's hard to pigeon-hole. He's a prep school grad and Vassar drop-out, but he spent a few years chopping clams in Provincetown dives (no, that's not a sexual innuendo), so in a way, he did pay his dues.

Key to success:
1: Get job cleaning in fancy restaurant.
2: Do whatever the over rated head chef wants — get drugs, give head, etc.
3: Become an over rated head chef.
So that’s what head chef means.
Zimmern is just as hard left but a little better at hiding it.
Has he suffered a blow to the head recently?
Whether or not he’s sincere or not doesn’t matter to me. I’m prostitution. ased to learn a few on the left are even appearing to be reasonable.
I’m hard pressed to think of things that unite us as a nation. From religious freedom to education to bathroom use to entertainmet to marriage and family we are utterly separate.
It’s hard to see where this goes from here...

The leftist Tony Bourdain does this.
On one of his shows he went to Montana, fired every sort of neat weapon and talked about just how fun it was. He spoke respectfully of the people and frontier culture.
Then they had a humble camp meal around the fire, drank whiskey and sang cowboy songs.
It most certainly appeared sincere. And there are several shows along the same vein.
Zimmern is cut from the same cloth as Bourdain.
Bourdain is a fraud IMO. Nothing but contempt for him from here.
He is on my ‘Chef $hit list’. Right behind him is Mario Batali. Though Mario shows some talent at least.
The list is longer but I’ll stop with these two.
He is one pathetic creep smoker.
Thats fine, I mean, Trump can take it. What I find absolutely unconscionable is when they attack Trumps supporters. "Despicable's", etc. Bourdain at least gets this much, same as Michael Moore.
So basically he hates everyone.
I always knew Bourdain was a closet Trump supporter. He’ll never openly admit it though because he needs to sell his books and TV shows.
They bleep every other word out he says... When I watch him I feel like I’m watching a drunk.
