Tracing its etymological roots....both Marriage and Matrimony derive from ‘Mary’........the Mother of Jesus

Therefore.......they both relate to Motherhood....or the ability to create Life

These usurpers have to find their own new name. Because whatever they are doing it’s not Marriage

Marriage is by definition a contract.

Entering a contract requires informed consent and free will

A robot has neither free will nor is capable of consent.

Therefore a robot can not marry.

you can be sure there will be ‘underage robots’ for pedophiles- will the supreme court rule it legal to marry them? that would be just another disgusting step towards legalizing the abomination of pedophilia-

Gay groups swore up and down that ‘all they really wanted was just to be married’ and that their agenda would stop as soon as they were allowed that- Nope! it just intensified- and you can be sure many in the gay community are behind efforts to legalize pedophilia- while it’s true not all pedophiles are gay- it’s also true that many gay people are pedophiles- The statistics are shocking-

This whole robot issue is just another step towards legitimizing marriage- and it will lead to a further degradation of the sacred institution of marriage and usher in and further embolden people who practice other forms of abominations

Marrying your sex Robot: What is the definition of marriage these days?

For a woman, I guess it could be as simple as changing alkaline for rechargeable batteries in her vibrator,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

people can now ignore biology and claim to be whatever they wish to be-

So by definition- contracts and laws and reality in general mean nothing now

Marriage should be defined as individual churches feel is best. Government has no authority to define or legislate on marriage.

Unless you have a religious world view of it, marriage means whatever anyone says.

In the secular world, it is meaningless.

“Love” is another word which has been redefined to the point of nothingness.

“Sex,” as in male/female = also no meaning.

“Good” and “kind” have no real meaning anymore.

Nor does “evil”

“Racist” has been redefined. You can get out of bed and wash your face and you’re a racist, simply because, you are of a perceived privileged race.

It’s all a part of the attempt, consciously or subconsiously, to un-define important and biblical concepts, IMO.

Marriage, love (all types) and sex are very important in the Christian world and life view. But they are being made of no meaning whatsoever.

How un-progressive of you.

Marriage is a contract created by essentially all societies in the world to provide a stable framework for the procreation and upbringing of children. Children need to be taken care of for several years. The parents must be made to take the responsibility for the children that they made. The society needs to know which two people are responsible for the kids.

Go anywhere on Earth. You’ll find many different kinds of ceremonies and rituals, but you’ll always find that marriage is between one man and one woman.
Extending that to a “couple” of the same sex, or to a human and a horse, or to a human and an electrical appliance, is an aberration, and a misuse of the word marriage.

The end goal is to destroy marriage as an institution and to render it as nothing more than an excuse to buy a fancy cake.

The state’s definition is simply whatever judges, pols, or the voting majority think it should be at any one time. That’s all marriage will ever be to the state, the state doesn’t have any other way to define it in the modern era. Pope Leo XIII warned about civil law defining marriage 130+ years ago.

The marriage ceremony has been altered in our modern times, and has excluded the vital words: "God's Ordinance of Marriage". Marriage was truly ordained by God back in the Garden of Eden:

[Gen 2:24] Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

But how will you deal with her robotic divorce lawyer after she leaves you for a mechanical stud who is now also separated from his human partner?
