These would,be great programs to end funding of.
I am all for the schools being what they want to be, just not on taxpayer money. If they thrive because they can all on their own without special help and special money, great.
Jerry Sandusky scowls at kids with that attitude.
I was considerably better.
HIV therapy has come a long way since the 80's.
And that's when it got weird.
Do tell, how so?
I liked where I was
Ah, I see.
You have had many fascinating life experiences.
You should start a blog.
We have a HBUC in our area. My white former daughter in law got her degree there since it was the only university offering her program in the area. She was ‘encouraged’ to apply for a scholarship to improve the universities diversity numbers. She declined although she did think it funny that many of her minority classmates were incensed that she would get a scholarship at the school.
We attended her graduation. They had the graduates stand up based upon their GPA. Although it was scientific, just my observation, of those attending, over 90% had a GPA above 3.0.
About forty years ago, I took an Army course for missile electronics. Our first two weeks covered about what you would expect in a very basic electronics engineering course in college. We had one student who was unable to pass the test for this section. Yes, he graduated from that same HBUC with a degree in electronic engineering. By direction of HQDA, he was awarded the MOS to enhance diversity in that field.
Grambling College under the legendary coach Eddie Robinson had a 2nd string white quarterback. Even inspired a made-for-television movie, Gramblings White Tiger.
Somehow I have the feeling that you will rush in where angels fear to tread.
"I had a golf scholarship to play for a small NAIA college."
Suddenly some things are beginning to clear up.
" I thought everyone wanted racial diversity, but the special treatment for the HBCU causes me to think that the so-called diversity liberals want is more anti-white than truly diverse."
Does Drudge know about this?
"the HBCU reneged and the school was allowed to play"
Let's be careful with our terminology here.
Cool story Bro.
Out of curiosity, are you a millenial? More specifically, what year were you born?
Same could and should be said for women’s colleges.
