BipolarBob :" The operative word here is resource-based. With that as a guideline you can justify anything with statistics and fuzzy math."

4 Years ago, Senator Nelson of Florida held a hearing on why NOAA closed all bottom fishing in the Southeast region for several months.
It seems that NOAA closed the fishery,..because they could,
underneath Agenda 21 rule of "sustainability" of resources ".
They then attempted to bluster the committee, Senator Nelson said he wanted to see the statistics that justified the closure.
They continued the bluster and razzle-dazzle the committee and when Nelson asked who conducted the study, NOAA admitted ,reluctantly, they closed the area without any study or statistics.
NOAA had administered AGENDA 21, despite being directed by Congress to not do so;
they then created a 'regional council' of their own cronies to further their own agenda and control fishing.
Essentially, NOAA created their own 'Regional Council' of 'elites' who made decisions on seasons and fishing closures,
where NOAA held the larger number of seats and imposed their own will.
Now imagine such a committee composed of Corporations, since they have areas of specialty that Agenda 21 calls for;
in which case you have corporate elites who specialize in an area of expertise administering resources without no concern of humanity ~ just "resource sustainability".
This is AGENDA 21 sustainability called for in Technocracy.

Glad you brought this up since it effects millions and is sadly lacking in documentation.

Down my way in the keys they get divers to count the fish, now that's really scientific!! It's all NOAA BS and those of us in the fishing industry constantly pay the price.

Take true red snapper for instance. the rules and regs on them make no sense at all. They open the fishery on a whim for a weekend and then only for small numbers meanwhile the commercial lobbies suck in all the gravy at our expense. Each fish is worth millions to sport fishermen and our user group and all the trickle up and down in our insduty from homes to boats to cars to hotels you name it. Meanwhile the commercial lobby gets X dollars a lb. and its over,tragic waste of a resource.

You cant go to any fishing spot at all in the northern Gulf and not find so many red snapper they are almost a nuisance. When asked why they don't open it up their answer is the same as why jewfish remain closed:

Well you don't find them over here or over there.

Never mind the fish don't go there!! It's a silly game they play and lets hope the Trump adm. can close these aaholllls down.
