A senior Brazilian official said on Thursday that Temer would call Trump for their first conversation since the New York businessman was elected to the White House last month.

Temer sent a telegram of congratulations to Trump, instead of calling him soon after his election as some other Latin American leaders did....

It was probably one of the electronic telegrams that work like a twitter post but that only be read by the recipient and self delete after a while

Interesting.

If anyone needs the ‘midas touch’ in their economy, it’s Brazil. The Donald is fast becoming the go-to guy for the world.

The best thing is that the underlying message here is that obama is so BLASTED irrelevant it’s not funny. He’s yesterday’s news.

Brazil trade negotiations will be a test for Trump since Brazil has significant barriers to trade for a US company seeking to place products in that market.

One of the great quotes: “Brazil is the country of the future.., and always will be.” Maybe Trump is the man that can help change that.

The President of the US dealing directly with the BRICS nations? That should ruffle some feathers in the western establishment. Maybe Kissinger will need to visit Trump a fourth time.

To paraphrase the late comedian Bill Hicks maybe they meet with a new president and show him a view of the Kennedy assassination that no one has ever seen before, like from a grassy knoll.
