Just my opinion, but we need loud voices from far out to the right of Trump. The commies always have BLM types saying crazy sh## so that their commie ways look more “reasonable.”

Rarely do we on the conservative side of things have strong voices even more conservative and strident on our right. We need the Levins and Savages of the world out there on the end of the teeter-tooter to help balance of the voices of “the leftist vermin.”

In this instance it helps promote the notion that Trump’s conservative picks are not as conservative as they could be and that conservatives are unhappy. (I’m not unhappy, even though I want Attila the Hun to be our new and internationally respected and feared Secretary of State.)

I wasn’t a huge fan of Trump, but I voted for him because of the alternative. I’m still uneasy about him flipping moderate to liberal, but so far I’ve liked the things he’s done. I do think it’s hypocritical to say “drain the swamp” and then hire DC insiders, but I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. Stating that he would put Hillary in prison and then turn around and let her off the hook also bothers me, but again, he gets the benefit of the doubt. Anyone has the right to challenge his picks, if we just swallow whoever he chooses without argument, it makes us no better than the left.......IMHO

A mite easier to read, my edits. My apologies if you are offended.

I’ve been listening to Mark Levin every day for many years. I have bought and read every one of his books. Have given a couple of his books to my recent college graduate granddaughters.

I signed up for LevinTV on the first available day. We are a 3 generation family of solid constitutional conservatives including the recent college graduates. However, since the wonderful election of Donald Trump, Mark has nightly ranted against some of the cabinet choices or possible choices.
He’s questioned Trump’s policies, etc. He rants against the incoming administration more than the evil Dems.

In short I find it nearly impossible to listen to Mark lately, My family members feel the same, We’re trying to enjoy the fantastic Trump victory, but Mark is way over the top with his diatribes. I can feel my blood pressure rise listening to him.

Why can’t he comment on the appointments calmly and let’s see how the policies are formed. Does any other Levin fan feel the same way.

Around the time of the Iowa caucuses, Levin opened several of his programs by complaining about Corn Subsidies. He used that as as backdoor to complain about Trump. Night after night after night.

I found myself listening less and less. Many times, his opening remarks started with Trump-bashing. I would switch him off.

Levin would get soap boxes and rail against whatever. Many times he complained that ‘we need a new Republican party.’ He never quite revealed what that ‘new’ party was. When Trump seemed to be expanding the Republican votership, Levin railed against that. Levin rails against whatever, because he thinks it makes good radio. His online streaming ratings have dropped by around 45% since the last quarter of 2015.

I started listening to the afternoon Phil Valentine Show, live, on WWTN 99.7 FM Nashville TN. He is entertaining, without the heavy politics and candidate-bashing.

==

A funny thing about those corn subsidies — they were not even on the list of concerns for most Iowans during the Iowa caucuses.

Levin is adept at using half-truths and muddled truths for his nightly Trump-trashing.

Welcome back to reality. As someone else said, once a NeverTrump’er always a NeverTrump’er.

His 15 minutes of fame are over. Him and Glenn Beck can share the same room in the poor house.

I can’t listen for long because although he has points to make he yells them at me. I listened a little last night and he was talking about the sanctuary cities basically giving the finger to the feds and equated it to the nullification of federal laws of the confederate states of America. His point was valid. If they can pick and choose on immigration laws than 1- what good are federal laws and 2- red states should be able to dismiss things like the bathroom issue or obamacare. Valid points but I was totally exhausted by it by the time he got to the end.

I went out at lunch yestersay and sat in my car and happened upon Beck, thought I’d see what he was doing, haven’t listened to him in probably 2 years. Well, he was non-stop Trump bashing, calling the U.S. the biggest currency manipulator not China and on and on ... After two minutes turned him off, never again.

I’m about this close from unsubscribing from his podcast which has been especially tough because it’s free. I hardly ever listen anymore though and never without reading the recap first.

Levin needs to back off and really think about what he wants to say. I know he has a radio show that he wishes to fill and has many thoughts about Trump but his negative caterwauling is turning off many of his listeners. He can get much more with honey than vinegar.

He’s raising legit points. Trump supporters made the same complaints about Cruz, but for some reason they’re OK if Trump does it. Heidi worked for Goldman Sachs, oh the horror. Now Trump appoints a Goldman Sachs guy and suddenly the topic is taboo? Even goes further and picks someone who worked for Soros... and we aren’t supposed to notice?
All leaders need to be watched carefully when they appear to veer from the path, and it’s better to criticize before a bad idea gets set in stone.
If it bothers you that someone’s opinion differs from yours here and there, just turn the station to one that only agrees with your point of view. Otherwise just take stomach acid pill and tough it out.

From Othello:

But jealous souls will not be answered so.
They are not ever jealous for the cause,
But jealous for they are jealous. It is a
monster Begot upon itself, born on itself.

It's not that Levin has something to be angry about, it's that Levin is angry.

Anger as lubricant to pedagogy is tiresome, and ultimately unlistenable.
Coupled with the added anger of having been so wrong on the election,
he daily fights his own irrelevance.

You listen everyday and you just noticed he’s unhinged and very selective in his conservatism

He south bashes a bit even though we were his strongest audience

He was vicious to Trump

And he hurls the anti Semite smear with at times reckless abandon just to silence detractors just like the left does

“There I said it”

I was an earnest listener and book buyer till fall 2015

That did it for me

He’s an asshole just to throw the truth out there

He should have watched his buddy Rush on how to have threaded the Trump needle
