What the Trump win did for me, and my family. (OH the long vanity!)

“Heck, imagine how great things would be if only half of them made the positive changes to their lives.”

My point here is YOU. It’s the next guy to post under me, and then them.

It’s all of us. But I’m talking right now to Free Republic. Jim started this site and it became a small business. Start something. Work something. Do something, anything. Make it a business.

The thug or the welfare fraud will always be that way, or will such an uphill battle that statistically they have less of a chance of being someone than they do of winning the lottery. This isn’t really for them - but of course, go with God if you are one.

I don’t think those people read my stuff on Free Republic.

Who does read my stuff on Free Republic are vets, professionals, laborers, and even other small business owners. An overwhelming number of FReepers are invalid, injured or permanently disabled too. We can all be part of this - We can ALL start winning.

So if you’re active in the market or if you’re confined to a chair, if you’re fit as a fiddle or clinically obese you’re still an American and Americans win. At least we used to.

And we will again.

I am saying that just about everyone on FR can now do this. There are a few people on YouTube (Like that Francis guy) who put up with daily comment-beatings about being fat and poor but who still turn on the cameras and give their haters a big F-U by just showing up and making America Great.

I challenge all of us, and specifically in these posts to all of FR to open a window and let the fog out of your mind. Trump is just a man. He can’t make our lives better, and I’ve read his books like a fiend - He doesn’t WANT to make your lives better. But what he’s done is shown the world, without smoke and without mirrors that even against a globalist powerhouse such as the CPUSA and their treacherous American politicians that he can win without breaking a sweat. He won the presidency while STILL managing his empire. My god, he behaved as though there were 4 of him. This guy doesn’t know when to quit or even what the word “Quit” means.

To him, Failure is not even something in his life. Failure is something that other people do.

A FReeper here, Ann Barnhardt has also shown us the way. Is she a global media tycoon ? No. But she’s doing it. She’s making her own path in a world that constantly pushes back. But she’s an god-fearing American who won’t back down. She wins !

You can all win ! I can win ! Now you can walk past your “Clinton Preps” of stockpiled guns and ammo, gilly suits and food stores and think of them as a Storm preps instead of “My neighbors might kill me preps”. We can stop giving in to the fear porn, we can stop feeling like we are second class citizens.

Now is when we stand up - and we don’t need to stand up with an AR and a balaclava anymore ! We can now stand up, in our regular clothes, unmasked and do what Americans do best - develop, engineer, craft and share with the world.

“Just remember this, and repeat it daily..
“If Trump accomplishes nothing as President, at least he saved our beloved country from Hillary.””

SCOTUS. SCOTUS. SCOTUS. We already won.

I sort of made the same decision as you. I’m 31 and going back to school for accounting. I aim to be doing well when I’m done.

I urge you - Become an independent Accountant. It’s hard, but you’ll make it just fine. Work for yourself.

As a data analyst, I often work with Accountants to pinpoint problems and opportunities in enormous spreadsheets. I don’t get much work in finance anymore but when I do the reward makes up for it.

Be such a good damned Accountant that companies can’t afford your number-crunchin’ ass. If you leave school and simply “Get a job” then you will be relegated to that level for years - even decades. You will establish such a level of living that you’re living from check to check (Even with the BMW and prime home). Keep yourself free and more opportunities will present themselves to you. And without the extreme bills you’ll be able to respond better.

Live your life like Dave Ramsey (Or myself, who takes his advice to the very edge of reasoning) and use that freedom to move about your field. Every job that’s out there, you can convert from “Employer” to “Client” in just a few words.

Great testimonial. I really think that the era of the liberal will finally be over. Trump will make it so that Marxism and the New Deal will soon be nothing more than concepts our children will laugh at derisively.

I would advise you to get rid of Facebook, though. Every time someone logs in to Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg gets more money to push illegal immigration on America. I’d advise you use a private WordPress website, or something similar, as an ethical substitute for Facebook.

“I would advise you to get rid of Facebook, though.”

Been off for 6 months.

That, combined with the fact that I no longer spend any time reading and subsequently fretting over news, has freed up a LOT of productive time.

Basically, while I like him and his, I stopped watching the Alex Jones types. I think they are great people doing great jobs, but as the OP in this thread - I’m simply relieved now.

Everything is going to be alright.

BTW Trump and others have now initiated this “prepare the grid for solar eruption thing” and I think that’s a dandy thing to get in on. That’s our next real threat.

Wow, I don’t know where Donald’s positive energy-outcome derives from but it is something special, and to the vanity poster, glad you’re feeling renewed and energized :)

I guess but I could never hack it either.

Coffee is also a basic that I could never handle the taste of either.

“I thought you were going to end with giving up Facebook.”

I’m easy to find on Facebook. Just look up Celerity.

I changed my name to a single word earlier this year. I did an Indonesian proxy in my browser, changed the language of my settings, and then changed it from my real name to “Celerity”.

Facebook contacted me 2 weeks later demanding that I send them a photo of my ID.

Let me stop there for a moment and talk about this. I have a daughter who was a year and a half at the time. My daughter does everything that my wife and I do. She copies our behavior. So the real problem will come up in just a moment.

I will be DAMNED if a ... -Website- is going to cancel my membership unless I “comply” and show them a photo of my ID. No no no no nope. That isn’t going to happen. My daughter will never see her dad “comply” to a damned webpage.

You can see me up there now. I just walked away. Didn’t shut down an account or anything. I left my name as Celerity as a monument to their utterly insane request.

Show my id to a webpage... Screw them.
