What the Trump win did for me, and my family. (OH the long vanity!)
Self | 11/26/16 | Celerity

Facebook was an interesting chapter in my life. For years I would chat with friends and family, and I would share with the group some of the good and bad things happening within my life, and around me. You know, standard stuff that people use social media for.

Then something odd happened. I was a Facebook user since 2010. And this year they released this feature where you could see what you wrote on Facebook on that date, for as many years as you were on.

I got to see my life before my eyes, gauged out and served in small sums every day. Posts from 2010, 2011, 2012 and so on - all the way up until 2015. And I could see what I posted on that day, of course.

What I noticed was stark. I used to have a sense of humor. The world used to be my oyster. I used to look forward to events, happenings and a brighter tomorrow. I used to laugh. I used to have fun things to say, and nice things to say.

When Obama was elected, and during his election process I was wiser, and more observant than those around me. I had spent years studying history and really watching the world around me. Under George Bush I was forced to think about everything that I held as truth, and I was forced to really read between the lines to fully understand politics, promises and a love of country.

I saw Hillary win the superdelegates at the DNC. I saw her hand over her win to Obama - Someone I knew as a demonic plant. Obama had no history. He voted "present". He was an organizer from Chicago. I couldn't believe the "crime of the century" the Democrats were getting away with - all while a complacent and even capitulating media fawned over his imagined greatness. I knew what he was. I wasn't alone. FR knew who he was too. A Marxist. A conquerer. A Musloid usurper of power put into place by the CPUSA. Bill Ayers, Hillary Clinton, the whole gaggle of CPUSA traitors and cheaters.

My whole world took a long 8-year dive. I grew angry and miserable. I tried not to be, but I was. I had no hope. I watched as McCain faked us all with his attempt to beat him, and I watched Romney agree with Obama on every point during the debates.

We were screwed.

This year we all got to watch Donald Trump campaign and ultimately become president. I felt a knew Donald Trump. I read his book when I was 12. I read the Art of the Deal because I always wanted to be a business man (And of course, some of you may know that I have never submitted a resume to someone, I've never held a job. I've always run my own business, except for a brief time where I worked at Yale University and got tossed to the curb - but another tale for another time).

His philosophy took NYC by storm. People in NYC start working at 7am and stop at 7pm, if they stop at all. That's because Trump challenged them. And how he challenged them (Us all) was with the tongue of a cocky, know-everything yuppie bastard. He didn't say "if you want to be successful, do this". He said "I will beat you every day because by the time you get to the office and pour your first cup of coffee, I've already bought you out".

The man wins. It's what he does. And when he ran for president he was asked "What makes you think you can be president?" His answer was the same answer that an 18 year old Donald Trump would give. "I'm going to win because that's what I do. I'm a winner. I'm not a loser, I'm a winner. I'm going to win the presidency."

When he won, one of the first things he said was "I told you I was going to win."

During the past 8 years I watched my spirits and soul collapse into a pile in the corner of the room. I tried valiantly to stand up and fight it, but most of the time depression wins. And depression always wins in a war of attrition.

Hillary and the Democrats are cheaters. They are traitors. The whole group of them - the aptly identified "swamp" allows them to cheat. They hand them victory. As if it's their birthright. The media convinced half of the country that it was her birthright to "rule the free world". But then Trump came along.

And you know, I'll be damned, he looked that challenge in the eye, without blinking, leaned forward into their attacks and said "I'm a winner. I will win."

The night he won the presidency I stayed up late. I had to watch the whole thing. And when I saw him win, I had seen all of the evidence I needed to see. I studied "The Art of the Deal" like a maniac. Like a 12 year old kid did with his first "adult book". I read it cover to cover many times, absorbing every word. I followed this man around and looked to him as a professional mentor.

When the chips were down, I didn't quite win. In fact, a string of corrupt investors, cheating, back-stabbing a-holes and thieves nearly had me hanging from a noose. Loss after loss, downward trend after another. When I walked into a prospective client they could -smell- the failure on me like a cologne. They knew I was washed up. 30 years old, and washed up. "I couldn't get a break".

On the night of his win I stood on my porch at 3am and just looked out over my yard. It became clear that if he could do this, I could too. I'm going to start winning.

Everyday I win now. I called up old clients and I didn't just "try" to get their business. I didn't just try to compete against my competitors. I started to win. That's it. Just win.

This month I am on the way to closing $30,000 of new business. $30,000 for my family. Next month, I have a $15,000 sale and then another $10,000 sale. In January I'm bringing my product to market and I when I lay out my pitch (I'm not a natural pitchman... at all) I'm going to win.

I have 3 products to bring to market. These are game changers. They are game changers because I'm going to change the game.

In conclusion, here is my vanity. I walk through my room of preps (Buckets of food, supplies, medicine, and clothing. A collection of fuel, ammo, guns and equipment. Boxes and Boxes of first aid. Stuff that I bought because I was sure we would be taking up arms right now) and my shoulders relax. That stuff is now my storm preparation inventory. Not my "shoot my way out of a revolution or civil war inventory". I'm happy again. I'm smiling. I'm telling jokes and I'm sleeping properly. And when I awake I no longer contemplate routes out of my town to water, or supply houses and caches along the highway. I know longer pack my AR in my car when I take a long trip. I am taking a work trip tomorrow and I'm not packing a shortwave, raft and 96 hours of survival supplies.

I'm back to where I should be. Focusing on winning.

That's what Trump said. "Stick with me. I win. And you'll win too."

I'm winning again.

I was the same way. Actually, I’m still pissed off. I escaped Canadastan socialism and I got MORE socialist nonsense in America when stupid people voted this clown and his sasquatch wife.

Drink some for me, never had a taste for alcohol. It all tastes like listerine to me.

Besides I get migraines so I can feel awful for free and spare my liver.

Imagine how amazing America would be if every welfare leech, every loser, every inner city thug, every weasel decided to be more like you. To dedicate themselves to winning and living an honest life not dependent on handouts or scams or crimes, but hard work and devotion to success.

Heck, imagine how great things would be if only half of them made the positive changes to their lives.

Kudos to you, Celerity.

I’ve noticed that if he can pull off a Calvin Coolidge-style presidency in and of itself ... He’ll be successful.

I don’t think he can get everything on his list accomplished. It’s going to take a LOT of work to scrub the stink out of D.C. so our freedoms and prosperity can start to happen.

That’s why I said when he won - We now have to do OUR part.

As long as he puts good justices in the SCOTUS, he’s done enough repair to last generations.

Now that he’s President and representing our best interests, it’s time for us - the Freepers especially - to act.

We need to start businesses and hire people. We need to take everything that we do and “go platinum” with it. If you like to shoot, it’s time to establish yourself as a pro. If you like to build fine scale models, it’s time to establish yourself as a pro.

We need to get America to the front of the line again. And we do that by doing what we each do and taking it all the way. Get out of your basements. Stop tinkering. Go professional.

Start a small business ! Now is the time to start manufacturing, now is the time to start employing people. Whatever it is that you like to do, now is the time to go pro.

Like blogging ? It’s time to go pro. You will find spaces in your town to setup cameras, microphones, desks and backgrounds. Get people involved in running cameras and editing your videos. Go pro.

In order for America to win, it’s not up to one guy no matter how good he is. It’s up to America and we just showed that more than half of this country is ready to do this. More than half of America is sick of being on the losing team. We are sick of being disqualified before even being allowed on the field. We are done, done done done done being told that someone beat us to it, or someone is going to be better.

I beg all of you - Start your own business. Now is the time. You -will- win.

Just remember this, and repeat it daily..

“If Trump accomplishes nothing as President, at least he saved our beloved country from Hillary.”
