Oppressor and torturer of millions, murderer of thousands, and billionaire thief Fidel Castro is finally dead.
This death of this evil Communist and avowed enemy of the United States who took a wealthy, relatively free country and transformed into a poverty-stricken totalitarian hellhole was reported on Cuban television about an hour ago. Castro reportedly died at 10:29 p.m. Friday.
He was 90. Fidel handed his wee baby brother Raul the Cuban presidency in 2008.
Fidel’s inactivation makes the despoiler of Zimbabwe, 92-year-old Robert Mugabe, the heavy favorite in the dictator death pool.
But little Raul isn’t far behind.
He is 85.
The world just became a little better place.

I remember as an 8 yr old child, looking at the little B&W TV, at the trajectory map of nuclear missiles coming from Cuba to my city.
I knew what that meant...”Duck and Cover” and “Don’t look At The Flash or your Eyeballs will melt down your face!”
I have been waiting for this day for over a half century.
Not quite as happy about this as Hillary’s defeat, but it comes close.
Yes. Old Fidel finally bought the farm. Bit the bullet. Kicked the bucket. Moved on, passed on, passed away, he. bit the Big One...
Thus, he has earned his reward/punishment. Good riddance, good luck, goodbye! Adios...

Too little, too late, Fidel.
Hard to be too excited about this. He lived to a ripe old age and left his family firmly in hereditary control. He retired from the dictatorship. Who retires from dictatorship? I think that’s what the latin phrase is supposed to mean, not dying in your bed at 90 years old.
Latin, translation: “Thus always to tyrants”, purportedly (but unlikely) uttered by Brutus at the assassination of Julius Caesar.
Now, if only a few more world dictators would die....and about 10 to 15 million domestic Liberals.

On November 9th, Fidel was doing very poorly, disoriented and his sons decided it was best not to announce the results of the US election. El Comandante had assumed that another globalizing socialist would become the next US president. When the Castro boys heard that Donald Trump had won in America, no one had dared be the one to tell their father. And he looked comatose any way, so why bother the old man.
Weeks later, Fidel grew stronger, he finally sat up asked for a bath. Then he laid down again and asked to be woken for dinner to watch the CNN election results on TV. Fidel had no idea what day it was because he had been so gravely ill for weeks. So now an argument ensued between the boys debating who would have to deliver the devastating results. Fidel’s doctor had begged the boys to lie and claim the Clintons won again. But with so many TVs, he would eventually learn the truth.
They all chickened out and called Uncle Raul over to deliver the terrible news. Raul Castro came in around 10:20PM and he leaned over the bed and whispered in his ear, “el comandante, dearest brother, It seems that the Americans have chosen Donald Trump to lead them.” “I am very sorry.”
With that, Fidel’s eyes grew round, he clutched his chest and he died. He was Kaput. Donald Trump’s win gave him a heart attack.
