Unnecessary. The Constitution has a “Full Faith and Credit” clause. The reality is that enabling federal legislation is often necessary. It serves as notice to law enforcement and lower courts.

That is why I’ll vote for an anti-gun repubbie instead of a pro-gun dim.
It is the dim majority that takes away 2A rights. I wont add to a dim majority.
CA and and a handful of other states have dim majorities and our only relief is thru the feds and SCOTUS.

...he wants to defend the rights of "law-abiding gun owners"...Nowhere in the second amendment are gun rights restricted to the law-abiding. He who should not be trusted to be armed should not be free.
And here in New Jersey if I purchase or carry a weapon without government permission, I am no longer a law-abiding citizen. What do they find confusing about "shall not be infringed"?
