Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach says he is joining President-elect Donald Trump's transition team, taking an unpaid position to advise Trump on policy issues and prepare him for his first 100 days in office.
Kobach advised Trump on immigration policy during the campaign and was successful in getting a border wall added to the GOP's official party platform.

So how does that work? Is he giving up his paid job?
Moving the project forward.
CNN was in full meltdown about this guy, he must be great
Great news!!!
We just keep winning!
I can’t wait til I’m tired of winning. We will have accomplished so much by then, looking forward to 8 happy yrs
I think one of the things that needs to be done is to do away with anchor baby status. If we don’t get rid of that, then nothing else will matter regarding illegal immigration.
Many illegals send monies back home to their countries of origin. If we could tax that money, then that money could be used to defray the costs of building the wall and any other technology needed to secure the border.
Lefties in Kansas hate our secretary of state. He has helped several states on voter ID laws. Obama judicial dept folks hate Chris K.
Two more years on his term as S of S. Used to do a sunday evening radio show in KC.
Huge consequences to corporate directors for failure to comply with E-Verify laws.
Eliminate all the welfare incentive that illegals are getting.
These steps are EASY and will make a huge impact on what we're trying to accomplish. It ain't rocket science.
Kris Kobach, an excellent hire.
I heard him on the radio today, he said the transition team has been up and running for two months already.
“CNN was in full meltdown about this guy, he must be great”
What’s this CNN you speak of?
I actually am getting tired of winning... i am. For the last 3 days i am laughing so hard my stomach is cramping. When i stop laughing then something new comes out like the epa guy being against global warming. I then laugh for 2 more hours. Guys , seriously i really am getting tired of this winning stuff.
I can’t believe he won and she lost. I was so worried. This is amazing
In the context of the federal budget, that's chump change. Build the wall!
I agree with all you said, but we need to also get rid of that anchor baby business.
I can’t believe that Arpaio is being persecuted for doing his job and doing the job the feds refused to do.
Am I dreaming, or is the rule of law returning to our Republic?
To somewhat quote Hillary “I ain’t no where’s near tired of winning” haha
I ‘d also move to eliminate Dual Citizenship. Until some time in the 60s or 70s, anyone who wanted to become a U.S. citizen had to renounce his or her native land’s citizenship. They had to buy into the US 100%
Now we have an untold number of people with split allegiances. We might consider some program of ‘legacy citizenship’ with the foreign country, but if a person has that s/he cannot vote there. As it is, if you’re dual US/Israel or Ireland or France or Italy whatever, you can vote in both countries tho you may never live in ir.
