Most are very good. But there is one near me that needs a better manager. That’s never been a problem before. It’s my area, not the store, I believe.
Oh, she knows Tastykake. Probably where she lives it’s Little Debbie.
I knew Kellyanne was a Jersey girl. Donald and Tiffany went to Penn. Yuge Philly connection!!!
A popular passtime in PA is getting into an argument over whether WaWa is better than Sheetz. Yeah, WaWa offers a lot more merchandise selection. But Sheetz has better food.
Love Wawa.
in Lenape it means wild goose.
Sheetz food? I get sick just thinking about it. And their coffee is the worst!!!
actually the local lenni lenape
The town of Wawa (as with many, many places in the United States) got its name from the American Indians that resided there. In this case, the tribe was known as the Lenni (LEN-eye) Lenape (LEN-uh-pee). According to the corporate site www.wawa.com (and anybody who grew up in the area and has paid attention): “’Wawa’ is a Lenni Lenape Indian word for the Canada Goose that was found in the Delaware Valley (area where PA/NJ/DE come together), that’s why we use the goose on Wawa’s corporate logo.” from urban dictionary.
Looks like Kellyanne digs Tastykakes!
Close inspection shows they are Krumpets — even more of a delicacy — along with pies!
This also shows how much more down to earth and connected to the real people in the country Trump and his team are. Does anybody think Hillary, or Huma would even know what to buy in a Wawa? They’d be asking for arugula on their sandwiches.>>> she grew up in Jersey womewhare
Wonder if he ordered a “gobbler”?
Very good FRiends with a retired teacher from St. Joe’s. She tells me Kellyanne was brilliant in school.
My cousin, who spent much of his working life in Nigeria says that “WAWA” means West Africa Wins Again, which is just the same as “Africa Wins Again”.
I wanna know which hoagies they ordered. I practically survived the 80s on Wawa smoked turkey hoagies...
Best Chicken Salad anywhere.
Wawa is a small town in PA that has a dairy farm. It is across from Franklin mint. A family member married a DuPont and they started the chain of convenience stores. All stores are company owned, no franchises.
That’s perfect...lol!
My hubby and I were in Philly for for a couple of nights, and got home a few hours ago.
Yesterday my husband was looking out of the 19th floor hotel window and commented that a BIG motorcade was going up the highway (pretty much below where we were)so I looked out and watched too. Then I saw the ambulance bringing up the rear followed by half a dozen more police cars, etc.
I knew it was either Trump or Hillary - so I hopped on google and saw that Trump would be in Valley Forge the next morning. Far too late to arrange to go to the rally, and we have each already been to a Trump rally, but it was neat to see his motorcade all the same.
Wait. You saw Hillary following Trump's motorcade?
Yeah, that explains why Sheetz is in six real states, whereas Wawa is in four, three of which are p*$$ant sized.
