Mugger wants valuables, gets shot instead
The mugger in the blue shirt made the worst mistake of his life when he pulled a gun on an off-duty cop. The cop drops the contents of his pockets, bends over, and backs away quickly. While the mugger stoops to pick up the goods, the officer draws his concealed carry pistol and puts multiple shots into the mugger’s chest at close range.
Would you have fought or just given up the jewelry?
Most people would probably agree that the mugger got what he deserved, so instead of quarterbacking this we’d like your opinion on this if you were there as the LEO or maybe just a private citizen licensed with a concealed carry weapon, what would you do?, see the video here.
Just remember people can keep doing stuff after you shoot them. The guy got hit at least three times at close range before falling down and he was still moving towards the shooter, tried to shoot back.
Gotta love a happy ending.
In most places there is a duty to retreat.
However, the perp was moving towards him. So it looked like he was a potential risk.
To me.. bang, you’re dead. Rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
I think the cop did EXACTLY as he should have done. Dropping the goodies was brilliant because it distracted the robber.
Second things to do would,be looking around for a second and third robber waiting to get you for offing the main robber.
I saw a flash in there. I think the perp did shoot back. But by that time he had already been hit a couple of times and he missed.
Why would anyone believe an armed robber who says they wont hurt you? That is not reasonable. A person is robbing you by force, and says to trust him he wont use hat force on you to hurt you.
People are murdered after being robbed. Why are we to trust the so called stated morals of a person who has already shown the use of a gun to rob you of stupid material goods?
Why would anyone trust a gun toting thug at all?

That was at a bank in Venezuela or Brazil. The original tape is an excellent lesson in shooter management and should be viewed.
The policeman controls the area around him after the perp goes and stays down and it is worth while to see it on Youtube. A great lesson in defensive shooting.
Yeah he did. In such close quarters the cop was lucky the guy wasnt more square up on him.

Yep. The perp shot one round to the left of the cop. I have seen the rest of the tape and apparently no one else was hurt.
Even though “criminal” is a legitimate career path for Obunghole’s sons, it needs to be a more dangerous path to walk.

If you’re brandishing a weapon in the commission of a felony you get whatever you get as the chance you take.
Dime to dognuts the BLM crowd wants him charged with murder. You have a right to undocumented shopping.
Pretty brazen thief to mug somebody in a line with dozens of people around, not that they were any help but still. Thankfully a very cathartic ending.
My personal property is my life. I would definately shoot.
