There is apparently nothing wrong with America that can’t be blamed on Donald Trump. He is single-handedly destroying the Republican Party, trashing presidential debates and spoiling the reputation of locker-room talk.
And — breaking news alert! — Trump is even changing journalism. His habit of saying things that nobody ever said before is forcing reporters to unleash their partisan views instead of just giving the facts.
Some of these charges may be true, but the one about Trump changing journalism is demonstrably false. All the more so because it comes from the editor of The New York Times, who happens to be the actual guilty party.
Dean Baquet, the Gray Lady’s boss for two years, recently claimed that Trump’s campaign had forced the paper into a new way of covering politics.
“I think that he’s challenged our language,” Baquet told an interviewer. “He will have changed journalism, he really will have.”
The claim is presented as one of those chin-stroking insights about a new paradigm that liberals spot around every corner. In fact, it is just another example of the Times getting it all wrong....

Integrity? There isn't one ounce of integrity in the entire NY Times organization ... William Safire was the last credible individual to work for the paper.

Of course the New York Times hasn't had any integrity to speak of - to ‘abandon’ or not - - for decades. They've destroyed an industry - their own profession. And for nothing. Cheap bias - favoritism - 'prizes'...rather than the respect of their readers. Shame on them.
That's what should happen. He should lose his job. John Harwood's not a professional - he's thug.
But he works for haters... haters so stupid and vile they think 'wrong' is defined by 'choice of victim'. As if Nazis figured out putting Jews in overs is wrong, so they start putting Irish in ovens instead. Here's the ugly truth: Harwood is part of a powerful Establishment that feels they have the right to play dirty against people who are not as powerful as they are... No different than any other corrupt 'establishment' from the KKK to illegal drug dealers.
I mean ‘forever’. So-called “journalists” have shown their true colors. They’ve lost the right to moderate the debates.
Think of it as the ‘John Harwood’ change...
The hard hitting types of the past have been replaced with 'pajama boy' types... Seriously, men who pout and purse their lips... Men with 'vagina envy'...
That said, even though the New York Times has lost the respect of most of their former readers they STILL WIN PRIZES FOR THEIR BIG SHOTS TO HANG ON THE 'STUDY WALL'...
