There is apparently nothing wrong with America that can’t be blamed on Donald Trump. He is single-handedly destroying the Republican Party, trashing presidential debates and spoiling the reputation of locker-room talk.
And — breaking news alert! — Trump is even changing journalism. His habit of saying things that nobody ever said before is forcing reporters to unleash their partisan views instead of just giving the facts.
Some of these charges may be true, but the one about Trump changing journalism is demonstrably false. All the more so because it comes from the editor of The New York Times, who happens to be the actual guilty party.
Dean Baquet, the Gray Lady’s boss for two years, recently claimed that Trump’s campaign had forced the paper into a new way of covering politics.
“I think that he’s challenged our language,” Baquet told an interviewer. “He will have changed journalism, he really will have.”
The claim is presented as one of those chin-stroking insights about a new paradigm that liberals spot around every corner. In fact, it is just another example of the Times getting it all wrong....

I’m not really sure it ever had any integrity with REAL Americans. It’s the Rich, Good Old Boys newspaper. Americans get their news from reliable sources like Free Republic.

Regardless of the clueless nature of the statement, he’s right about Trump changing “journalism”. Even the word has to be put in quotes now, because the news media has become a particpant instead of a bystander. So what should we call them? “Journadvocates”? “News Warriors?” “Dishonest Bastards?”
The New York Times never had any integrity to begin with. They are a laughable rag, unfit to wrap fish with.

The editor of the New York Times can recite all the self serving dribble he can imagine. However history will not be kind. It will be recorded that the American press rather than inform the American people instead overtly promoted the candidacy of an inherently dishonest, shamelessly corrupt woman to be President. There was no investigative jounalism or even reporting of how a woman while in public service accumulated a fortune of over $ 31 million. No inquiries about lies told under oath to a compromised FBI or the role of a politicized Justice Department. No questions of the monies paid to a phony foundation or exaggerated “fees” for vapid speeches.An astonishing indifference to the destruction of e mails that were evidence. The editor can contort and posture but facts are facts. American journalism became partisan advocates and failed in its duty to the American people.
