I worked at a major Boston hospital for decades so,while I don't know much about this big world of ours,I know something about the medical biz. :-)
The article must not be correct, or you are correct that he is not registered. I did a Psychiatry Licensing check in Dover NH and there are 32 registered, none are him.
I also checked the NH state registry and could not find him. However there is some name confusion as there are at least two different David Diamond psychiatrists in MA with different middle names.
I agree with you. The article must be wrong as he appears to be a psychologist not a psychiatrist. Very big difference...
Psychologists can not practice medicine.
A clerical error or two different David Diamonds.Both seem possible.But if it *is* a clerical error then he had better straighten it out pronto lest he suffer enormously negative consequences...particularly if he bills Medicare or Medicaid,which would make it a Federal matter.

Liberal papers have been calling prominent conservatives crazy for years, including party leaders and Supreme Court justices.
That means they absolutely consider the rank and file conservatives crazy.
It lets them brand themselves as smart and rational, just for belonging to the ideological tribe, while de-legitimizing the other side of any rational basis for their views and simultaneously smearing the view holder.
Dennis Prager has a list of things you need at least a master’s degree to believe, such as race is intrinsic/biological but gender is a state of mind.
Why? The registering groups have laws to make sure they get their money?

Not true... until someone reports the person the state registration process does not know. I found it odd that his state registration said “Lapsed” and not “Retired”

Very true. I recently selected a guy to present at a conference as the credentials behind his name included MD & PhD at a major university and his list of credentials behind his name was longer than most academics biography. He was not just an MD and PhD in Psychiatry, but had over a dozen Board Certifications... which don’t come easy.
The guy was terrible, both as a presenter and sound evidence based medicine. I’ll never invite him back.
I go head to head with people like Dr Diamond (the psychologist) in their areas of expertise all the time. I have very little respect for psychologists as most of them are like the guy who has a hammer and everything looks like a nail to them.
Psychiatrists on the other hand I usually have great respect for as I am in meetings with them discussing research and philosophies all the time.
One of my degrees is in psychology to help fill in my neuroscience gaps... give me evidence based medicine as I am a scientist... psychology is not a science as it is currently practiced.
