Judges must understand: climate rules are irrational

Most people across the world do not care about climate change

On Tuesday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit heard arguments in the litigation over President Barack Obama’s Clean Power Plan (CPP). If implemented, CPP regulations will require states to develop and bring into force plans to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from existing power plants.

Arguments against the CPP focussed primarily on its questionable legality. However, the ten judges considering the case should also keep in mind that the rules are pointless. No matter what one believes about the causes of climate change, the CPP will have no measurable impact on climate.

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy has repeatedly admitted this before Congressional hearings. McCarthy maintains that the CPP is still worthwhile because, to quote from her September 18, 2013 testimony before the House Subcommittee on Energy and Power, it “is part of an overall strategy that is positioning the U.S. for leadership in an international discussion, because climate change requires a global effort.”

Thank you for referencing that article Sean_Anthony. As usual, please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

With all due respect to the judge, what the low-information federal judge needs to understand about Obama’s climate rules is the following. The states have never delegated to the corrupt feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate environmental issues.

From related threads …

In fact, a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting justices had clarified, in wide language, referencing the 10th Amendment, that powers that the states have not expressly constitutionally delegated to feds are prohibited to the feds.

”From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].” —United States v. Butler, 1936.

Patriots also need to consider that Obama is not the main problem with this climate rules issue.

More specifically, although Congress has the constitutional authority to put a stop to Obama’s unconstitutional actions, the corrupt post-17th Amendment ratification Congress is not only letting Obama get away with stealing and exercising legislative powers to harass the sovereign states imo, but in this case letting him get away with exercising 10th Amendment-protected state powers that the corrupt feds have stolen from the states.

Corrupt lawmakers are likely letting last-term Obama get away with doing all the unpopular, unconstitutional things that Congress probably wants to do. And by letting Obama do Congress’s dirty work for it, lawmakers are able to keep their voting records clean. And by keeping their voting records clean, lawmakers are able to fool low-information voters into reelecting them. (Patriots need to iron the wrinkles out of the 22nd Amendment. When both legislative and executive branches are corrupt, watch out for unconstitutional actions by last-term presidents.)

Remember in November !

Patriots need to support Trump / Pence by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will not only work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support Trump’s vision for making America great again for everybody, but will also put a stop to unconstitutonal federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional inteference in state affairs as evidenced by Obama’s climate rules.

Note that such a Congress will also probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.
