Skip to comments.VIDEO: What Tim Tebow did with the first pitch he saw as a professional baseball player

Call this mainly a feel-good video to start your day with - a gift from us to you before we return to whatever nonsense Hillary and her media megaphones are trying to shove down our throats today.
When the New York Mets signed Tim Tebow to a minor league contract a few weeks ago, the signing was widely derided as a silly publicity stunt - particularly by one especially contemptible sportswriter known to our readership as a vindictive obsessive stalker cockroach. But thats what Raid is for.
Good one, God!
Opposite field, too.
choking in blue ... stop swallowing.
I’m surprised that Tebow didn’t do a Tebow after rounding the bases.
Do I really need to add it?
Funny. If Tim Tebow makes it past AA ball, I’ll buy you tickets to a game.
My local minor league franchise does not frisk my scrotum or rifle through my wife’s purse when we enter their stadium.
I find that refreshing.
Can’t wait for Tebow to play the Skeeters!
The Sugar Land Skeeters? We used to play them!
Last sentence crome the anouncer was “ typical tebow.... Hollywood type stuff” ... Haha
I can understand why Tebow haters abound at DU but why are there so many here?
I’ve noticed the haters here for a while.
Yes, but it could be the same guy with multiple logins.
Yes, the Sugarland Skeeters. They are part of the Atlantic League.
Their stadium is awesome; it looks like a scaled down, 2/3s sized version of a real stadium, and parking is free.
It’s kid friendly. I appreciate that.
Yeah, I’ve really noticed it lately. Been here since 1998. Might as well be reading DU lately. Haters everywhere. Conservative has become sort of a flexible term with politics, religion, patriotism, ect. I waiting for some post about how taking a knee is really the patriotic thing to do.
That's a great question, made all the more significant with characters like Colin Kapernick. I'll take a stab at it.
Tim Tebow is that rare person who is so thankful for God's love and forgiveness, that he is unashamed to show it, no matter the venue, no matter the occasion. He has always done so with class and dignity (compare for example, the rediculous end zone antics we have watched over the past 10-15 years).
Tim Tebow is a Christian, and he is not ashamed to show it. In a politically correct culture, (yes, even conservatives are often caught up in it), Tim Tebow has deflected attention from himself to the God he serves. In so doing, he is wrongly accused of drawing attention to himself.
But I'm not surprised by any of this. His Lord is Jesus Christ and Jesus said, "If the world hates me, surely it will hate you."
Tim Tebow takes another command of God seriously, "If you deny me (God the Son) before men, I will deny you before the Father." Would that we had another thousand Tim Tebow's in professional sports, and elsewhere. Ironically, the more he is mocked and ridiculed, the more he fulfills his purpose.
I wish that we had another ten thousand Tim Tebow’s in local, state and federal government.
I read the whole thread first. I am happy that I did because I was going to ask, “How long before the haters find fault with Mr. Tebow again”? However, I see that it did not take long. The haters are already here. How sad!
