I have read the authors self-reported bio on Amazon; he proports to be James Bond and Jason Bourne all rolled into one, as well as being an sci-fi author.
Obviously, he must have been huffing glue when he wrote this article as he couldn't be any more wrong about true 'preppers', since prepping is an ongoing life-style not a prepping at the last minute of crisis, during a catastrophe with half-crazed, nuclear-tainted zombies.
The people he describes are the catatonic, 'normalcy bias' individuals who suddenly wake up to an immediate catastrophe staring them in the face, with abrupt knee-jerk reaction.
The author's article is just another of his sci-fi creations of a ruminating mind looking for another huff.
Agreed. The article not only misrepresents what prepping is all about, but the author is an abysmally poor writer.
