I’m not from CO or nearby, so I forget: I seem to remember there being an excellent black candidate who was shunned by the party system? Which one was that?

Glenn as we see won. He spoke at the Republican Convention; 100% behind Trump. The incumbent Bennet has been running ads that he’s a “good guy” helping, sob stories, and people’s personal testimonies for many months now. Glenn is likely behind but it’s doable to overtake if he gets more exposure.

Col. Glenn is worth more than every execrable RINO Senate nominee up this year put together (Heck, Portman, Roofio, Mur-cow-ski, Kirk, et al).

No, I meant I thought the state convention nominated him and that was final. I didn’t realize or forgot there was also a primary. Seemed like a waste of time and $$ resources that didn’t change the results of the convention, especially when Glenn needs all that money to compete against Bennet.
