The facts that natural disasters occur for reasons other than global warming, such as oceanic currents and underwater volcanic eruptions, are inconvenient details for the environmental/green growth agenda
The severe flooding in Louisiana, the result of torrential rain, the location of Baton Rouge below the sea level, and those proverbial levies that did not hold after the disaster of Katrina, destroyed 40,000 homes and 30,000 people and 1,000 pets had to be rescued.
The New York Times published a story immediately, Flooding in the South Looks a Lot Like Climate Change, blaming the flood on the global warming hoax created by the very profitable climate change industry.

I’m not sure calling it a natural disaster is fair or accurate. If you google Mississippi River floods Wikipedia list large floods every few years, ranging from one or two years apart to twenty or thirty. The upshot is, it seems like a natural occurrence. Not a question of if, only when. The disaster isn’t natural, the disaster is the stupidity or arrogance of man, building at the business end of a large river and thinking it won’t flood again, or that they can control it.
But,,,but,, I thought that if we prayed to Gaia and sold our souls to the Church of Man, sacrificed our liberty and money the waters will no longer rise and consume us.
