The State Department revealed Tuesday the United States has accepted 8,000 Syrian refugees so far this fiscal year, admitting they could actually exceed President Obama’s goal of admitting 10,000 migrants from the war-torn Middle Eastern country by Sept. 31.
Anne Richard, the assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Population Refugees and Migration at US Citizenship and Immigration Services, said during a press call last Friday:

Looks like all 1300 of them are on the Upper West Side. There has been an enormous increase in women wearing head jobs, which is the only way you know the Muslims are here. From day to day there are more and more.

when is oh, say, Turkey or Saudi going to accept 10,000 Guatamalans? Columbians? Venezuelans? no?
Or at least they think they’re all Syrians. The UN signs them up from surrounding countries as well.
