There is no Biblical support for the Reparations Movement

There Is no biblical support for the Reparations Movement(Nevermind the claptrap the SJW's try to hoodwink theologically weak minded persons with!) Behold Ezekiel 18:19-29

19 “Yet you say, ‘Why should the son not bear the guilt of the father?’ Because the son has done what is lawful and right, and has kept all My statutes and observed them, he shall surely live. 20 The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

21 “But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 22 None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live. 23 Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?

24 “But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.

25 “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair? 26 When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies. 27 Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive. 28 Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 29 Yet the house of Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ O house of Israel, is it not My ways which are fair, and your ways which are not fair?"

The “fairness” Reparations ‘blood guilt” police need to be confronted with Ezekiel 18 measure for measure, especially when they try to use religion as a support for their noxious views. The whole chapter destroys the notion of generational blood guilt and the need for atonement for previous ancestors’ past mistakes! The chapter even addresses “fairness” from God’s point of view!

Comments, what say you! Don't let the race hustlers baffle you with half baked religious notions as to why you should feel guilty and atone for something that was done half a millennia or so ago! Read the whole of Ezekiel 18. We are responsible for what we do in our own lives and for what we can do to help right the injustices we encounter in our own era...we are not responsible for the sins of our fore-fathers! We may suffer residual effects lingering from mistakes made by our parents but each soul is responsible to God and may draw strength and hope in dealing with bearing those crosses. Christ says we are new creatures in him and that old things are passed away. Let the dead bury their dead and their blood guiltiness with them!

I’m posting these sentiments in other areas(no not a blog just places like liberal forums) so I’m hoping freepers will give advice or offer shaping criticisms so I can refine the points I’m trying to make. Many religious “nice” types are easily swayed by race baiting SJW’s that try to appeal to their consciences with twisted religious concepts. I hope to equip folks with some scriptural concepts to help confront these noxious Sharpton types!

I acknowledge the “choir preaching” but I have rarely seen Ezekiel 18 used. Ezekiel 18 points intrinsically to Jesus Christ and his saving grace.

As I said in another thread - "< ...

was never exposed to any slavery in his ‘good’ life in the USA...brainwashed to hate ‘whitey’... Same mentality with the reparations crowd. They expect us to pay for suffering they never had that we didn't inflict. Sure, makes sense to me.../s

Listen I already work an extra day a week just to pay taxes so they can get free obamaphones, housing food, heahthcare, educations, etc,,,and have done so for over 35 years. If that isn't reparations and doing lave time, bite me.

There have been a whole buch of shows made by black producers about this nonsense on the last few months like The Underfground and Roots and a whole neither set of slavery shows. I knew from the second I saw them they werent about entertainment. I knew they were being shown to set the stage or the gibsmedats to stick their hands out and demand more. We've created a self-entitlement class that will never be satisfied and we have a super mega wealthy white man stoking the fires of hatred to use the gibsmedats to tear fown the infrastructure of the United States and they are too stupid to figure it out.

That's how I feel about reparations. You asked...

If your grandfather committed a crime and owed the victim reparations which went unpaid, are you responsible for paying them?

Our system of justice is not based on collective guilt or collective punishment. We are judged on our individual actions.

The only inherited guilt we all have descends from Adam.

All have sinned and fallen short. All need Jesus’s salvation. All need repentance. All need to walk with God.

No one will avoid his sins because of who he is.

‘Pod.

Ezekiel reinforces the concept of personal accountability before God, it certainly doesn’t negate what you said as well. Peace to you!

Ezekiel 18 speaks REAL TRUTH TO FALSE SJW’s’ POWER! So when you hear their crap, refer them to EZEKIEL 18! Now you know how I feel!

Reparations in perpetuity is the desire. Just once won’t do.

That’s what Ezekiel 18 is saying(what you said as well)...but for all the “we must atone for the blood guilt of our racist past” blah blah of the SJW’s...Ezekiel 18 is completely ignored by these people!

Even Christ was crucified only once; this as was to be the final sacrifice needed for the cleansing of sins....that must be our answer and forcefully thus proclaimed! (but not hatefully so...but with passion and vigor!)

Reparations? Okay, let’s do it. Give them each a few thou and make them sign a paper that this satisfies the obligation. Oh yes, they will sign.

Then buy stock in Wal-Mart. You’ll have it all back inside two weeks.

Christianity is all about forgiveness; not resentment. Forgiveness is freedom; walking free in Christ’s love out from the darkness of injustice and evil.

Tribal revenge, resentment and hatred is sin; walking in the opposite of Christ - evil. You can tell by the fruit born through forgiveness - peace, prosperity and love - versus that born by tribalism - war, poverty and hate on an individual and societal level.

Can’t we simply dismiss the premises here? There is nothing for any living human to forgive. All the people who enslaved, and who were enslaved, are dead.
