Another Worthless Republican Hearing
Real Climate Science Blog ^ | July 7, 2016 | Tony Heller

All the Republicans needed to do today was this:

1) Get Comey to talk about Hillary’s NDA – where she agreed that classified information was “marked or unmarked” – and which listed severe criminal penalties for failing to protect it.

2) Get Comey to admit that Hillary had potentially exposed critical security information to our enemies.

3) Get Comey to admit that Hillary lied repeatedly about her actions.

4) Get Comey to admit that Hillary’s decision to direct all of her E-mails to her home server was intentional.

5) Get Comey to admit that the job of Secretary of State requires communication of classified information, which due to (4) meant she intentionally sent classified information to an insecure server.

That would have been enough to fry her. Instead, they got into an argument with him over whether Hillary understood the meaning of “C” – and played exactly the game Hillary wanted them to play.

Republicans invariably end up arguing over meaningless talking points, and fail to see the elephants in the room.

This is a SUPERB, concise look at what the House committee hearing the other day SHOULD have accomplished with Comey.

While it is too late for that hearing (duh) these points can be pushed to Trump and to as much of the public as possible. This is one set of core issues that Hillary has no answer to. She INTENDED to send all of her govt emails to her unsecured home server (and did so). She certainly had to deal with much classified info as Secretary of State (now estimated to be at least 2,000 of the emails in question). Ergo, she INTENDED to send classified info to her unsecured home server.

Of course, the whole "intention" line of debate is really a red herring thrown up by Comey, since her "gross negligence" should be prosecuted in its own terms.

Comey said the FBI investigation did not go there, when Chavitz asked him of any evidence of HRC lying under oath to Congress.

Comey said he did not have a REFERRAL from Congress to do so.

Chavitz replied with three words. “ You’ll get one.”

I admit that I (and so many others) totally missed this issue last Oct. 2015.... well I did not even catch the coverage of that particular hearing, I am sorry to say.

But here is a link at Gateway Pundit that says that "Judge" Napolitano on Fox News totally nailed the issue right at that time, of Hillary lying to Congress under oath in that hearing.

So I don't understand why there was not a clamor for "referral" and investigation/prosecution at that time. The issue WAS noticed, discussed on Fox News and at Gateway Pundit, but somehow Chaffetz and other relevant Congressmen either didn't know or didn't care. Pressure should have brought on them at that time. Hillary still might have skated, per usual, but at least this issue should have been spotlighted beginning last October:

but but you miss the biggest point. These hearings are not there to find fault.

They are there to provide a show to the American Sheeple.

A dog and pony show to make it seem to the "constituents" that these hard working congress critters that WE THE PEOPLE elected are doing their utmost to get to the bottom of it.

Just like Senator Ted Cruz called out on the Senate floor. A pack of lies and he called out the liars by their names.

Sorry to say no one was listening.

We are living in a lawless age. There is nothing anyone can do at this point except pray. No one is going to “nail” anyone. They are all corrupt, and the antichrist is on the move. The best thing to do is to be ready and sober when Christ comes for His own.

FREEPER ACTION---CALL Congress
Oversight and Government Reform Offices — 202-225-5074

REFERENCE U.S. sources indicate that the extensive DOJ probe was more focused on the possibility that Hillary's private server was used to protect messaging in which Secy Clinton allegedly discussed quid pro quo transactions with private donors to the Clinton Foundation in exchange for influence on U.S. policy.

There is an abundance of evidence to prove that she did this.

REALITY CHECK--A provision in the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) is intended to prevent the govt from co-opting United States citizens and companies ..... EAR proscribes using US citizens as instrumentalities to advance a foreign government's foreign policy.

This clearly describe Hillary's activities at the State Dept. As a tax-paid govt employee, Hillary clearly used her tax-paid office for purely personal/political reasons.......involving the interests of foreign countries.......particularly foreign donors to the Clinton Foundation.

CONCLUSION--The Export Administration Regulations (EAR) apply to all "U.S. persons" (defined to include individuals and companies located in the United States and their foreign affiliates).

The provisions are intended to prevent United States citizens and companies being used as instrumentalities of a foreign government's foreign policy.

Offending persons are subject to the EAR law when their activities relate to the sale, purchase, or transfer of goods or services (including the sale of information) within the United States or between the United States and a foreign country.

This covers exports and imports, financing, forwarding and shipping, and certain other transactions that may take place wholly offshore.....and/or across the borders with private donors to the Clinton Foundation in exchange for influence on U.S. policy.

=================================================

PULITZER PRIZE ANYONE?---an enterprising reporter (1) matches-up foreign policy decisions at Hillary's State Dept, (2) the timing of donations to the Clinton Foundation....and, (3) related foreign policy decisions by Obama.

============================================

AND THIS---

=============================================

OH, I JUST REMEMBERED...... the Clintons selling access to State Dept decisions and passing on classified information to interested parties for a foundation donation.......NEVER, EVER interfered w/ Obama/s OWN foreign policy initiatives (cue laugh machine).

In a very subtle way----without engaging in the bane of liberals' existence--"judgementalism"--
Comey's earlier statement more than adequately revealed Clinton’s true nature:

<><> her carelessness,

<><> her recklessness, and,

<><> her utter disdain for the truth.

Except that FBI agents have stated that they don’t need a referral to look at previous statements concerning the same matter

I would bet money that Comey still hasn’t gotten the referral.

Had I been on that committee, I would have opened with: “Mr. Director, are you familiar with the term Original Classification Authority?”

“Did Mrs. Clinton, while acting as the Secretary of State, have original classification authority?”

“Would you please explain to the committee what Original Classification Authority means, how many people in the US government have original classification authority and the responsibilities that authority entails above and beyond even the highest-level security clearance?”

They are there to provide a show to the American Sheeple.

Sadly that is becoming obvious to anyone paying attention. All these hearings an absolutely no one (living) held accountable for gross violation of duty and gross violations of the law. The system is badly broken. Perhaps broken beyond repair, electing Trump is the only chance we the people have of fixing the system without a reboot.

5) Get Comey to admit that the job of Secretary of State requires communication of classified information, which due to (4) meant she intentionally sent classified information to an insecure server.

This is the flaw in the argument. They have a separate system for classified data. Classified emails should not have been sent on the state.gov email system either.

“Marked or unmarked?” This was why her teaching her subordinates to use patch and paste to move documents through emails is so important to the crime. By using patch and paste, the documents can be altered and the security level codes can be changed or taken out to indicate a non-classified document that she can possibly mix up with her recipes. And that is changing classified material and is another crime to itself. The problem hasn’t gone away yet, unless the conservatives let it.

On the subject of “referral”, I believe Rep Chavitz disagreed that Comey “needed” that referral from Congress to investigate HRC lying under oath, to Congress.

However, Comey will get his referral, if only just to knock down any resistance by the FBI, on that ridiculous point of contention.
