MINNEAPOLIS – In the wake of protests in Ferguson, Missouri, where authorities were criticized for what some called heavy-handed tactics against demonstrators, many departments took a more restrained approach.
Now, after the shooting deaths of five officers at a Dallas protest decrying last week's police killings of two more black men, some experts are suggesting it's possible the pendulum could swing from hugs back to flash-bang grenades and mass arrests....

And they also chant: “pigs in a blanket, fry ‘em like bacon.”
Aren’t they inciting violence with such rhetoric???? What are the laws or court cases on free speech relating to inciting violence???
And isn’t it quite possible that the demented Micah Johnson, WAS INSPIRED by Black Lives Matter rhetoric???
The media blamed Sarah Palin and her allegedly violent imagery of shooting targets on a map of congressional districts, for inspiring the Tucson shooter.
Considering that, then logically, shouldn’t the media be blaming the Black Lives Matter protesters for the Dallas police shooting??? Why aren’t they??? I’ve yet to hear anybody in the media speculate about this possibility.
Or Slugs, buckshot and snipers.
That works for me. BLM isn’t playing around. No use for the cops to wear their kid gloves. Toast ‘em and give them something to complain about.

I’ve been covered by a rooftop police sniper many years ago at a protest of “Backdoor” Bill Owens, the RINO governor of Colorado, who supported the banning of private sales at gun shows. Changed my outlook on police a bit. Seems like they were there not to serve or protect us but to serve and protect their own and their masters.

People asking about a shooting that is questionable when they live in the community and know some of what is going on are being good citizens.
People who jump to conclusions before the facts are in, deify the individual in question in the absence of ANY evidence, and cause death, destruction, chaos, and mayhem throughout the nation are not being good citizens.
one of the things that needs to happen is not allowing those arrested out immediately with fast bail. if some one is arrested at a protest hold them the legal maximum before arraignment and bail a lot of times the protesters are arrested and out of jail in 4 hours and back to inciting riots. also make a term of bail not returning for a week at the place they were arrested. this would dramatically stop violence at protests
Thats what stinks about all of this. The police need to be accountable to their communities, not the politicians and elites. The astroturf has other ideas though :(
Communist gun grabbing police officers acting above the law and black beatniks and communists disrespecting the law. On one side, Black lives matter more than yours and the other Shoot first ask later and Respect mah authoratah!
Its ridiculous! Police men need to kill criminals who commit violent acts that threaten lives not some black guy selling ciggies to minors or jay walking. And the blacks need to wake up! Jim Crow is over! JOIN THE 21ST CENTURY! RACISM MAY BE ALIVE BUT ITS NOT PREVELANT LIKE THE OLD DAYS!

Got to admit, I wondered why a “flash bang” robot would have made more sense than the lethal “bomb” robot. (Don’t misinterpret my words...I’m glad the SOB is dead!). But not killing him might have gained a lot more information. 2 or 3 flash bangs in your proximity would stop you cold!
