Republicans could learn a thing or two from their Democrat colleagues – now they know how to not lose! Just say NO! Refuse to leave until you get your way.

Butt now the conundrum: the 4th of July is coming up and many of these elected officials have parade commitments back in their districts. So don’t expect many of them to remain in the Capital Hill sandbox throughout the 4th of July break, I doubt that any of them will miss the last plane out of town. They need to get home to play in their own sandbox where they can now claim moral superiority for having done everything humanly possible to fight for“common sense gun reform.”

THey won;t wait until next week to leave. Their sit-in time is coordinated with the press cycle. They’ll be out of there Friday morning.
I hope the NRA noted every Democrat on the floor, and produces a cookie cutter TV and Internet ad they can splash on every one of them just before the elections. With special emphasis on those with weak seats.
As happened in Colorado with the recall of two gun control supporting state legislators, with a last minute run of attack ads, the NRA might be able to flip half a dozen House seats, and scare the “pootwaddle” out of a bunch more of the Democrat gun controllers.
People sitting on the floor neither look dignified or intelligent.

They were neither before this kindergarten farce.
