There were two technologies Bubba allowed the Chinese to acquire. Accurate ICBM guidance systems and multiple independently guided warhead technology. Both were, and probably still are, the cutting edge of U.S. ICBM tech.

The multiple warhead tech, called MIRV (Multiple Independent ReEntry Vehicles), allows one missile to carry up to 10 warheads which separate in the stratosphere upon re-entry of the missile each capable of being guided to separate targets to within a few yards.

There is no defense system capable of stopping a missile after it has passed its apogee and begins reentering the atmosphere.

If that wasn’t treason then there is no such thing as treason.

As the Roosevelt Administration had put Americans in danger by selling the Soviet Communists nuclear weapon materials in the 1940s,

I don't believe it was "sold" to the Soviets. I believe it was given away free as part of "Lend-Lease."
