A minority of Gen-Y Sanders supporters plan to vote for Clinton in the fall, and nearly one-in-five will support Trump instead, according to an Economist/YouGov poll released on Monday.

I bet that number went up a little with that media stunt declaring her the winner yesterday
Good for Trump!
Number will grow after tonight and substantially after the convention when the little pip squeaks realize the life’s not fair and Trump is fighting that cause.
Some are lying - trying to influence DNC behavior by playing hard to get. Some who think they are telling the truth will change their minds when voting day gets closer. Some will vote Trump. And some so-called Republicans will vote Hillary.
Once we get to debate time...I think Hillary’s numbers will lessen.
Hilary has to be prepared for Trump to casually mention a lot of things that would make her look bad...which I don’t think she can handle that kind of debate. If you remember the Obama-Hillary debates of 2008...he just danced around her and she looked like some warmed-over milk. If you had to pick one of her worst talents....it’s debating.
I predict that for the first time since ‘72 there will BE no debates.
She would have to be utterly insane to get on the same stage with him.
Agreed! just like she doesn’t accept un-edited questions and just like she won’t hold any press conferences (even though they are the best opportunity to get free campaign publicity)
she is incapable of discussing, more or less ever debating, most of the important issues facing USA today
further, she is seriously compromised on several of the MAIN reasons why we need a new administration (terrible on economics and jobs, all-time-winner on corruption, greed, graft, and kickbacks.....horrid on individual rights, defense, and foreign relations...........and an historic disaster on ever telling the truth
Don’t bank on the 57% staying #neverhillary.
A lot of the Cruz supporters were #nevertrump, but that fizzled out once Trump secured the nomination and Cruz dropped out. The only #nevertrump people left are a handful of establishment clowns.
Most of the Bernie crowd hate Republicans. They will back Hillary in the end because they don’t want a Republican in the White House.
The truth of the matter is that a great many Bernbots will simply stay HOME on election day.
Can either candidate actually refuse to debate?
BTW, I hope and pray Trump doesn’t get stuck with a Candy Crowley-type Trojan Horse/Snake!!
I agree with you; the neverhillary thing will erode over time. She will promise millenials the same things Sanders did, and the millenials will vote their pocketbooks...or maybe I should say they will vote themselves OUR pocketbooks.
Anyone remember the supposed far left feminists who were going to vote for McCain in 08 because Hillary lost the nomination to 0bama? That really panned out, didn’t it?
As much as I’d like to believe this I don’t.Not for a minute.
None of the moonbat Bernie fans I know (granted it’s not many) will vote for Hillary. They think she’s a fossilized hag with an annoying voice and pretty much the Democrats Nixon, but with none of his virtues.
The millennial don’t know about white water, the women, even the impeachment. I bet it’s not in their ‘history’ books or is glossed over.
Once they hear about it, some young minds will be awakened.
“BTW, I hope and pray Trump doesnt get stuck with a Candy Crowley-type Trojan Horse/Snake!!”
You can bet Trump won’t just take it though. Romney was such a wuss I wanted to throttle him through my TV screen.
Trump's not really a Republican; never held office; never previously run; still Clinton probably gets most of them in the end. Trump, to win, has to improve his share of women while holding steady with men.
Even clueless millennials can smell her corrupt stench through the screen.
The media was too obvious in their Hillary support. You’re right - it’ll work against them.
“Trump, to win, has to improve his share of women while holding steady with men. “
I don’t see Trump improving his standing with women. But as you said, men is the key. Working class white men. Working class white men have been voting less and less in recent years because no one running has represented them or their concerns.
I think Trump changes that. In 2012 the electorate was 54% women and 46% men. If Trump gets that down to a 50-50 split or even just a 51-49 women advantage, he can win.
