A few minutes ago, I received a call from the Republican National Committee. I had stopped sending them money a while back, disgusted by their willingness to go along with the Obama agenda.
The lady on the phone claimed to be a 76-year-old grandmother, and that the RNC needed the money to support Donald Trump and combat "crooked Hillary".
It was a great pitch. I found my resolve slipping. I told her that she was a great salesperson, but that I would have to think it over with my friends at freerepublic.
So, what is the best way to support the Republican presumptive nominee. The lady from the RNC said Rence Priebus is completely on board with Donald Trump.
Are they a good vehicle for supporting Trump?
What are the advantages of giving money to the RNC?
What are the disadvantages of giving money to the RNC?
What are other vehicles for support of the Republican nominee?
NEVER give the RNC ANY money.

I have been hearing for a while now, that Donald Trump will be taking RNC support now for the general election.
Would be interested in hearing from people what they think. But I am tempted to say this may be legit.
Give the money to individual candidates that you support. Not to the RNC.

I would prefer to donate directly to the Trump campaign!!! That way, we can have a better idea where it’s going. Not all politicians the RNC supports are anyone I care to donate to. Look at the slime we have in office right now. Congress did nothing to stop Obama. Give them money?? I don’t think so. Primary them.

Trump will require money other than his own for the national election which are very much more expensive. Donating directly to Trump will remove GOPe influence.

You can support Trump without going through the RNC. They will dilute your gift as there are other elections going on, too. Also, the RNC needs to learn that it cannot ignore us but the only thing they seem to listen to is cash.
Trump said a week or so ago — I believe it was in context with the fundraiser he attended in Los Angeles — that he was fundraising but all the money went to the down-ticket candidates and he was still self-funding his campaign.
The RNC has a more organized GOTV that Trump needs. Donating time to make phone calls or walk precincts for Trump is good.
