How about this: Invite Russia to JOIN NATO and abide with all of the cooperative rules, and be finished with the Cold War?
Is NATO doing this to keep Poland and Hungary and perhaps Austria from forming a buffer “third way” coalition or to protect them? It does seem that eastern European countries need more protection from encouraged Muslim invasion than they do from Russia.
