If you must go in to Target (eg. for a work related task), just clean and clear your space with hymns.
Reminds me of the story where North Korean (I think) prisoners liked to be on poop shoveling and disposal detail.
They could sing and pray freely; no one came close enough to know what they were doing.
I figured they would play “Dude looks like a Lady” by Aerosmith
No......we should have a “Hymn-In”. Lead with God’s love.
LOL!
“Onward Christian Soldiers!”
... say your prayers ... and pass the ammunition...?
They could sing and pray freely; no one came close enough to know what they were doing.
In a similar situation, God worked to bless a Vietnamese Christian prisoner.
Or, “Man, I Feel Like A Woman”, by Shania Twain.
Or, A Boy Named Sue!!
Good idea. True Christian music is like holding a cross up to a vampire, throwing water on a witch, or shooting a werewolf with a silver bullet. The wicked cannot tolerate God’s music. They will run from it. It is a good weapon of choice in situations where you want them cleared out.
Or Shania Twain’s “I Feel Like a Woman”
Thanks for “getting it”. Hymn-In....... Nationwide
Is this Target’s cynical idea of the old “attract more flies with honey than vinegar” tactic?
I was thinking Lola by The Kinks.
It works for attacking dogs too! Many years ago my friend and I were walking down a sidewalk singing “In the Name of Jesus”. A large German Shepard came running out from between two houses charging at us. He looked like he was going to attack us. We kept singing and turned in unison toward the angry dog and the part of the song we were at was “In The Name of Jesus demons have to flee”. As soon as we turned to the charging, menacing dog singing those words he turned and ran away as fast as he could with his tail between his legs. I would think it could surely work with a bear if need be.
Absolutely! People underestimate the Power of Prayer as a vital force.
