Just looking at that pic makes me think from the dog’s point of view- freedom from chains, or something like that.
I mean just look at what they cut off, good God, all of that is the weight of neglect.
Many times dogs pay a very high price being man’s best friend.
Imagine how good it must have felt to have all that fur cut off! Must have felt like a new dog!
I have not personally seen the dogs close up (busy trying to get the available dogs get adopted) but the volunteers have said they show no signs of physical abuse or being tied or chained up and they were being well fed. They said all the dogs, both young and old, have a puppy attitude.
